iFreedom Direct iFreedom Direct Mortgage Services VA preapproval a SCAM Internet
The house I was trying to purchase was a new build. I went through the pre-approval process with iFreedom Direct at the beginning stages of construction for that home. iFreedom agent, Jeremy Shackle, later told me I was pre-approved for a VA loan and assured me I had nothing to worry about.
As the home's construction neared the end, the builder's representative told me that they required weekly updates from iFreedom Direct, and attempted to contact Jeremy, even leaving as many as 4 voicemails. I knew her claims were valid, as I'd go weeks without hearing from him after leaving several voicemails and emails. It's sad when I have to call the lender and babysit them in order to have them respond to the builder's questions. After not hearing from Jeremy for days, I finally got an email from him stating he was on leave, and it was only 3 weeks until the end of construction!
Then, I get an EMAIL (no phone call) from him stating we are no longer qualified for the loan due to iFreedom Direct's strict VA loan guildelines. My question is that if iFreedom Direct knew my financial situation in the beginning, then why pre-approve me in the first place? I put so many hours into setting up appointments with the builder, scanning and faxing documents, and taking time off of work in order to get iFreedom Direct everything they needed, only to find out I never qualified in the first place.
What a complete waste of my time. I just received notification from the builder stating I have until TOMORROW to find a lender or they're going to pull out of the contract. I just want to say thank you to iFreedom Direct for wasting my time with your phony pre-approval letter, just to catch my interest in your business so you can wait until the last moment before telling me I am not approved. I'm sure my family and I will find a nice cozy street corner to live on while you waste other people's time and energy. And if iFreedom Direct wants to challenge the legitimacy of my claims, I'll copy and paste every single email from them to prove otherwise.
