ILD has billed me for National Online Services, which is a joke because I do all my own internet services and don't require help, webspace, websites, email or any other internet service. They say I authorized the charges, which is a lie as I never answer my business phone (it is there for messages and outgoing calls only). Were I to answer the phone I would never accept any lead-in 'free' services, as they always come to a charge later.

I called to request a refund and after telling the operator that there was no way these services were accepted, she said there was a tape. I asked them to play the tape and then she said they'd refund. I told them I expected a COMPLETE refund. They agreed. The next month there was an ADDITIONAL charge on my bill and a 12 dollar credit. That made billing for 2 months of 'services' (I don't even know what these services were supposed to be), and a 12$ refund...or a charge of 47.90 for NOTHING! I refuse, obviously, to pay that bill.

I urge anyone else who has gotten bilked by this company to make a complaint directly to the FCC (http://www.fcc.gov/). I would also suggest complaining to your telephone services and billing companies who should not allow this scam.
