I purchased CD-R discs from Office-Max with a 3 rebate offer. One 99 cent instant rebate, one from Office-Max, and one from the disc company. Upon purchasing the discs I was handed a "magazine" full of rebate slips from various companies & various products with no offer of help whatsoever from the store clerk. I found the rebate slip from the disc company and sent it in , along with the cash register slip, and the proof of purchase bar code. I couldn't find a rebate slip from Office-Max so I called the store to ask them where it was located. I was told that I had to make copies of the ones that I had already sent in, so I gave up on that rebate. About six weeks later I recieved my complete rebate application back, along with a letter saying that they could not honor the rebate "as recieved" but no information as to why it was rejected, & that I must re-submit within 7 days or it would be void. This was only 2 days away so I knew there was no way I would recieve a rebate. Good luck to any one who tries to get a rebate from Office-Max.
