Unless you purchased additional insurance for your move then Imperial has done nothing wrong. Under law, carriers are only required to provide you with liability coverage. That amounts to the .60/lb/article you referred to in your report. I do not work for Imperial nor have I in the past. I have, however, worked for another moving company and the option was always given to the customer to purchase additional insurance if they would like to do so.
