In response to Laura and Kevin,And the rebuttal of the President of this company.I am an investor. It hasn't been a wide and straight road in getting this distribution off the ground.yet,in thier defense. They did inform us they were new and putting this together pretty much as we were going along. The product is by all means middle of the road as candles go.There's been bumps in the road as I've stated ,but I'm going to wait a little and see how it"s handled before I give my complete and final Opinion !!!

I love this guy Steve. I really do. He comes here and claims he acquired some of International Candle's assets, inventory, intellectual properties Well folks, see for yourself just exactly what ICC was dumping off on people. Look at the pictures. The first 3 are what the crooks sent people to get them to buy. Once the customers sent in their money, they received candles like the ones in picture 4. Now ask yourself, do you seriously think any legitimate company would buy a candle like the ones in picture 4? What could you do with them, except scam other trusting people? I can't imagine what the intellectual properties could be! Maybe the scam that ICC used to make millions from this candle con? Thinking of buying a business that you found on the internet? Well take a good hard look at just how well it turned out for these unfortunate victims!

Mr. Anderson, I think your comment provides all of the information any potential consumer needs before making a decision to deal with your company, so thank you! My comment certainly treated you fairly, or did you not notice that I even included your own web address so that anyone reading my comment could determine for themselves if what I said was true or not? I do not control the policies of this website and am not responsible for what they will post or how my information (and even my comment) is edited or presented. You chose not to address the specifics of my comment, which leads me to believe that you are unable to do so. Apparently, Kevin and I are not the only ones with the time to post comments on this website, and I can't help wondering exactly how you came to find the post about your company on this site in the first place! I do have enough good business sense than to affiliate myself with businesses (in any way) who have established bad reputations and who have a record like that of International Candle Corporation. Either you knew the reputations of the companies you have dealt with or you failed to do the research necessary to have that information before dealing with them, in which case you are the one with questionable business sense. I was actually concerned by Kevin's post, as he does not indicate that he had dealt with your business personally. That's why I decided to see what information I could find about Indulgence Imports, and the information was not reassuring for all of the reasons stated in my original comment. There are no false statements about your company in my post, so any efforts you make to sue me, and the money it will cost, just further indicate your lack of good judgement and business sense.

You see Stevey, International Candle was in the fraud business. They sent people one real candle to convince them to buy. Once the customer sent the money, they received worthless trash candles. Cheap. Discolored. Nasty. Bleeding grease and oils. In other words, Chinese trash. Probably made from crayons that were melted down. Nobody in their right mind would buy this trash! The customers can't even give the d**n things away. So, don't come here and expect anyone to believe that you were dumb enough to buy their trash. Not even believable. I don't know what you're doing. It's likely that you are running the same half-assed con as the other candle frauds. One thing I know for sure, you didn't pay good money for the trash that international is peddling! And, since you lied about the candles, it's likely that you're also lying about your legal advisors and your court subpoenas too. Nice try, but you can't fool all the people all of the time. There's always somebody like me that will spot something that doesn't make sense. So, mr president, go home and put your thinking cap on. And, don't come back here until you come up with some bullshit that at least makes sense.

In reply to these false accusations, Indulgence is not International Candle Corporation. Indulgence Imports has acquired some of International Candle's assets, i.e. inventory, intellectual properties. Indulgence Imports has also purchased assets from Affordable Luxuries Inc., which is also in Massachusetts. Indulgence Imports is also in the process of purchasing assets from several other companies on the east coast. Indulgence has no intent to solicit business from International Candles' distributor list. Indulgence Imports has never had any affiliation with Norwood in Mississippi or knowledge of their existence. Indulgence Imports has been an Importer for many years and has a good reputation, by offering a variety of products for our clients, such as candles and to special private label items. If you were a client you would be quite clear of the following. 1. Indulgence Imports only deals with Business to Business wholesale transactions. This means established business people who are looking to diversify their existing business, or existing retail merchants who are looking to purchase products wholesale. 2. Our Staff does hold training sessions for all our clients in order assure our clients are familiar with the industry and the products they are about to represent. Indulgence Imports' policy states new clients are obligated to go through training sessions prior to involvement. In laymen's terms, PLENTY OF CONTACT. 3. Indulgence Imports offer many additional items besides candles. It is quite obvious Mr. Kevin is not a client of Indulgence Imports. It is also obvious you did not do the proper research. If you would have you would realize Indulgence Imports is not located in Massachusetts. It is quite obvious that Mr. Kevin and Ms. Laura do not have any business sense. Professionals would also put their money where their mouths are; they would stand behind their accusations with a full name and contact information. Besides if they were professional, they would be focusing their valuable time and effort into something they are involved with, as opposed to making false accusations which can be civilly prosecuted under libel statutes. We will also make everyone aware our legal advisors will be preparing federal court subpoenas of this web-sites' records, and International Candle records to determine the individuals who are making these false allegations. Be aware anyone with false allegations against Indulgence Imports will be dealt with in court. Stephen Anderson President Indulgence Imports Inc.

The first post regarding this business does not say that they actually dealt with this "new" company, so I decided to check them out as best I could. Their website looks like it was put together from the pages of different sites, as they have different copyright dates, like "2001-2005" and "2003". They try to give the impression they are some big operation and very professional, but there are all sorts of mistakes in the text. They want to give the impression that they have been in business longer than they have. According to ScamDetectors.com, they just created the domain name in December 2004, and the program they offer is very similar to other rip off candle "business opportunities".. Consumers and interested parties should watch out for the "new" candle distributorships out there to help keep others from making the same mistakes, so we need more info on this company.
