Industrial Lighting, liar, ripoff
I wish to file a rip off report against my former employer for breach of contract. I was promised a trip to Mexico with my husband, all expenses paid, if I accompanied the owner on specific sales calls and a sale was achieved. I should add that my job was unjustly taken away from me, and I did nothing to deserve being furloughed.
Before I left the company, the owner promised that if the sale in question was made at any time, he intended to make good on this promise, since I had invested time assisting him. Well, the sale went through and now he is trying to back out of the deal-(which was not in writing but was known in the office by about 4 people, including the owner's wife.)
I am wondering how to resolve this, and if you can assist me in any way. I want my trip or the money for it. He claims his word is as good as gold, and I refuse to be taken advantage of.
