Industrial State Supply Distribution Supplies Name Change and new pitch Babylon New York
Industrial State Supply is now dba "Distribution Supplies Warehouse" or just "Distribution Supplies". The caller ID read 910 562-3318. The salesman, self identified as "Chris Davis", called to advise me that my previous order of five gallons of Dura Coat paint (which I had ordered in 2010) was based on a promotional 12 gallon order. He said I had missed the discount period to purchase the remaining seven gallons. I replied that I did not want more paint and that I did not believe his story. Mr. "Davis" first used a carrot, based on an "offer" from his General Manager, "Mr. DeFranco", to allow me out of the deal by purchasing only 3 gallons, but not at a discount. He mentioned the last four digits of my credit card. After I laughed and refused, Mr. "Davis", becoming suddenly rude and tried pressure a la "THE BILLING DEPARTMENT", declaring I must pay a $450.00 restocking fee on top of $1200.00 for the seven gallons of paint. He refused to give me the company address, stating I could deal with " THE BILLING DEPARTMENT" when they call within "48 hours". What a performance!
