Few months ago we met a womrn in the garden state plaza mall posing herself as a talent hunter for " industry modeland talent studios" giving the same sphill to all the parents with kids they could find there saying ure kid has agreat potential to becomea model.

We also being naive belived that and went to theier office for a appointment .

Intially they will never tell you what it cost to become a member and do a photo shoot.... all their so called "managers" pretend to be busy and important and they will give a nice rosy pic about your kid becoming very successful in modelling ... then will tell you u need to do a photo shoot and it will cost 800$ to take 90 digital pics ...even the photographers who were taking the pics seem to be naive and just did a shitty job.... after the photo shoot they would ask you to meet a "marketing manager" .... we met a woman called Kristylee Hurley.....([email protected]) she gave us another rosy pic saying your child has ecxcellent chances to get the modelling assingment and they would do all they can to promote him ( which is contradictory in thie contract where they mention they won't lift a finget to do any promotion and any marketing for the child ) we being a naive parents were excited to hear about our child and didnt know we were being taken for a ride ... that woman at the last moment said that in order for the photos to be put on the web site we will have to pay 1800$ more and the pics will be on site for 3 years and they would do 2 more photo shoots ...remains to be seen

That woman was being every sweet at that time saying if you have any questions she can be reached anytime and she would help to get our questions answered .... since athat day which was about 8months ago Isent her a lot of emails and called her she didnt had the couirtsey to call back even once ...... as per them they say 85% their models get work wher as amatter of fact in last 8 months thy couldnt get us even 3 auditions ... the 2 auditions we went were for some crap products and theire were like 300 kids for one job.......

Any time u call tothem they will have astandard ans the maagers are busy and they will get back toyou in 7-10 business days whikle charging the card it didnt take 7 minutes ....... I am amazed tosee how many innocent parents they scam every month with big promises ..... W e rellaytneed to take a stern action against themand make thempanyt back all the fees they cahrged against the promises to get the child modelling assinnments ....

Hope my experience will help some parents to be careful and save themself by not falling in the trap we fell.....

Malls don't care

I went to the local malls around here in north jersey where these kiosks are located and brought this and other reports to mall management. They were not only rude, they could care less. I was told by The Willowbrook Mall management office that they did their own research on the company and we must have the wrong company because they found no issues. I said ok, let's go to the kiosk and ask them where their office headquarters is located. If it matches, will you believe me then? They refused and even refused to look at the reports. The malls should absolutley be held liable as well. They are helping them facilitate fraud. These kiosks are flourishing while they are robbing people. They started with stands and now have TV's! In this economy! It's ridiculous. The media needs to jump on this.

There is a way to get your money back.

There is a way to get your money back. By law, no company can keep your money if you've paid them and they've never committed a service. For example, and this is my case at the moment but me and my mother are about to sue the company. We paid $1000 for their package but within 24 hours we called them back to cancel. All they could say was did you read the contract. However if you refused and never got the pictures taken for their "comp card" than the service they were given money for was never completed. Meaning the money is still rightfully yours, which i learned recently by taking business and accounting classes. Hope i helped. - Jordan
