I ordered from Ink On Tees on 9/4/07 without having read all the comments on this website. So, when 2 weeks went by without hearing anything from them, I started to get nervous, too. I had ordered over 100 t-shirts for book signings for my new children's book, The Adventures of Henrietta Ham: Meet Henrietta, that were scheduled to begin on 10/1/07. I called the company and got a machine, just as other customers did. Someone from Ink On Tees emailed me back that same day, and I noted that I needed the shirts before 10/1. Ink On Tees came through, with a phone call on 9/24 and several emails after that, and I received my Henrietta Ham t-shirts today, 9/28/07. And, they look great. The total time from ordering to delivery was 24 days. That's not too bad. I think what scares a lot of customers is that Ink On Tees uses PayPal, which charges the customer right then and there, without waiting for the items to ship. This, along with an answering machine instead of a live person answering the phones, is indicative of a fairly new business with more orders than they have personnel to handle in a timely manner. I would suggest customers try to order far in advance of when they need the t-shirts. Ink On Tees IS a real company, and they did their best to get my order out by the time I needed it.

On the same day that I filed a billing dispute with my credit card company- I came home from work to find a FedEx package on my doorstep. Two shirts, as promised. Just a little late. No note, no documentation other than the return address on the package. I guess if I want to order any T-shirts as Christmas gifts, now's the time to order! Lesson learned: Check RipoffReport.com, and check Epinions.com, before making online purchases with an unknown vendor.

8/30/07 Again, no further contact. Left many messages, on many days. They've disappeared again. I've contacted my credit card company with a formal billing dispute to try and recover my money. ***SCAM***

8/15/07 Received a phone call from Inkontees.com, apologizing for not getting back to me. They said they would try to trace the shipment that they supposedly sent out two weeks ago, and if it could not be found, then they would send out a replacement free of charge. They also offered another free shirt to compensate me for my frustration. I will post if and when this shipment arrives.

As anything custom made, these type of items can take some time to produce. I ordered some custom t shirts from Ink on Tees in early July 2007 and it took 6 -8 weeks for the shirts to be delivered. The event they were ordered from takes place in late September so there is no problem. The shirts are of high quality and far exceeded my expectations with the resulting product. These shirts are destined for an international event in Stralsund Germany and I am sure they will be well received. This company forfilled the contracted agreement and provided an excellent product for a fair price. This is no rip off company. I would use them again S. Hicks Teterboro, NJ

I was the manager of inkontees before I moved to Houston. I know when I was there they had only been in business on the web for 2 months. There was only me and 2 other people there working at the start, and within a month or 2 they got so overwhelmed and did not anticipate the growth, and was hard for them to adjust. I am not saying that not answering your phones is right, but I do know for a fact that it is a legite company and people do work there. i just think with the short hand in help and them being overwhelmed with work it is hard for them to get back to people in a timely manner. I talked to my friend that works there, and they are going to relaunch the site with more products and I also know that they are getting mroe phone lines and customer service reps to handle the calls and emails. They are not a scam
