Complaint Review: Inner Circle Publishing - Chad Lilly - Yakima Washington

We have made amends and resolution with Mike and Victoria Kelly, the situation is coming to a resolve, we feel it has found resolve on a level that communication is enhanced between us. Past wounds and convictions are fading we are all moving on from these past events and we leave with a message of peace and harmony. We wish no ill for Mike and Victoria, more so, we wish for their prosperity on their path even though it may not be traveling the road of ICP, every one deserves the freedom of their path and message to share. Much peace and healing of the situation has been made, this has been done with no layers, no mediators - the greatest victory of harmony is when we can do it between each other without the need of mediators that are generally only there for their own gain - their own intent such as legal counsel is. This is a profound message to anyone viewing this, to prove no matter the past, no matter what hurt has been caused healing is possible - amending is possible, if we talk to each other and find refuge and peace in the understanding of differences, HARMONY is possible. If we have done it Mike, Victoria and ICP, please, anyone going through a feud, this is proof that healing is possible in this world ... it is just one kind gesture away, create the gesture or except the gesture, either way it will lead to greatest of resolves. Life is too short, let all grudges fade away, and try understanding the other, try make amends it will be worth it I promise. Now Imagine you just published a book with ICP and you create a marketing campaign - you go to chad for details on how many books you sold - and it says 1 or 2 - yet you KNOW just from friends and family you sold at LEAST 12 . . . and you NEVER see this pay ever . . .

Facts . . . First of all we have NEVER been paid for even the few books Chad Lilly Claims we sold- to date I believe received payment for three - the fact that the could not provide these records - and quite a few "clients" of his left his publishing company over similar claims - shows what a dishonest person he is. He also put our personal address all over the internet - for someone who has "let this go" I see his true colors once again - Here is the truth ---- We are the Authors of the book 'Catch Falling Stars' After paying over $1500.00 to publish a spiritually enlightening book, we have discovered that Chad Lilly with his company 'Inner Circle Publishing' has taken advantage of not only us but other authors as well. If Chad publishes your book he will attempt to force you to be a part of his 'Mastermind Principle' making you to direct all website traffic to his site only. He has NO 3RD PARTY VERIFICATION SYSTEM of books being sold and you have to rely on his word ONLY. He is mean spirited and a petty person who bickers with everyone around him. I have plenty of emails proving this and will soon post them all over the internet if he continues to harass us . . . If you do not follow what he says about the way your books are sold through ICP he will then threaten to cancel your contract. We had our contract threatened at least 3 times. He is a petulant child and acts like one too. He wants to control every author and dictate how and when they get paid, how to market their own life's work and who they should and should not associate with. We have also received scathing e-mails and nasty remarks about other people on Blog Talk Radio who did not subscribe to Chad Lilly's point of View. (These can be posted on rip off report if need be) Chad also has a Broadcast there on BTR called 'AWARE' Talk radio and the only thing we became aware of was, that he is not enlightened at all. When we also left Blog Talk Radio to do real radio he put nasty comments on our blog - just like you would expect from a petulant child . . . We have e-mail complaints from not only other BTR Radio Hosts about his behavior towards them but that they too view him as a bully and crackpot. Even his own authors have secretly sent us e-mails about the way he try's to control and manipulate all of them and their own work. He cannot produce true sales figures or books on time. Recent authors of his also question this including recent sellers on Amazon - and I still see our book (copywritten material) is posting as available for purchase - a violation of FEDERAL law -We will seek legal remedies if this is not stopped. He has NO 3RD PARTY VERIFICATION SYSTEM of books being sold and you have to rely on CHADS WORD ONLY . We ordered our own supply of books from Inner Circle in November 2008. We received our books on February 19 2009 after a long frustrating venture. When we asked about our missing box of books that we paid for, including why the books were mailed to the wrong address, Chad informed us he was too busy to deal with such trivial matters. He then received the books to his home on December 18 by UPS and still proceeded to deny he knew where our book shipment was. Chad then made up some story that the books went to the wrong address after we tracked our books through UPS and their tracking number. We believe this was an attempt to punish us for not being a part of his mastermind principle. You can check the UPS registry for delivery confirmation. NEVER DO BUSINESS with INNER CIRCLE PUBLISHING OR CHAD LILLY. When we questioned his payment system in an e-mail letter, he treated us like a child and proceeded to send our private e-mail to all of his authors with a threat of canceling our contract. Of the many authors listed on his site only several seem to be doing any books sales. These are admitted friends and business associates of his. Yet many authors are actively marketing their books and they too have questioned his sales figures and payment. I believe he is defrauding them. We currently hold many receipts from friends and family who purchased books through the internet and to date we have been paid for 3 since July of 2008. After our contract with Inner Circle Publishing was canceled, Chad continued to sell our Book CFS on the internet. We were still able to purchase our book easily and without any problems. Isn't that Copyright Infringement? Only the threat of LEGAL ACTION forced Chad cease and desist our sales. Then Chad proceeded to make an untrue and totally ridiculous post about us and Catch Falling Stars on Amazon where our book was selling. We have done nothing wrong! Do not give your life's work or money to this predatory animal. as for the curse we leveled at him this is true - We said to him that the universe will pay back such deception - and soon - I do believe this and know it will come to pass -what goes around, Chad, comes around. Mike and Victoria Kelley live in Colorado at: 428 Thor Court Acres Green Subdivision LITTLETON , CO 80124 United States Mike and Victoria Kelley have another home in Florida at: 1006 South Street NEW SMYRNA BEACH , FL 32168 United States Mike and Victoria Kelley shipped their wholesale order of (15) books to: [Order Date: 11/24/2008 - Shipping Date: 11/26/2008 Customer PO: 71F780792G746520D] 1006 South Street NEW SMYRNA BEACH , FL 32168 United States Mike and Victoria Kelley contacted me about 2 weeks later to inquire as to why they had not received their order of (15) books. Requesting that I track them, I tracked the order and found the books were shipped to: 1006 South Street NEW SMYRNA BEACH , FL 32168 United States .... but since Mike and Victoria Kelley were in Colorado, there was no one home to receive the delivery in Florida, and UPS returned the shipment to 'Sender' (which in this case happened to be our PA Facility) Upon receiving this information, Mike and Victoria Kelley decided to place another order of (15) copies, this time to be shipped to their actual location in Colorado. The order processed, shipped and delivered. [Order Date: 12/1/2008 - Shipping Date: 12/4/2008 Customer PO: 7EU99346JU154040V] Mike and Victoria Kelley requested that I contact UPS and have the books they shipped to Florida (which were now in Pennsylvania) re-shipped to them in Colorado. I contacted UPS only to find out they were already being sent back to the 'Originator' of the shipment (which was our ICP office in Yakima, WA) ... and there was nothing I could do to have them forwarded to another address, or acquire the books any faster. We cannot control UPS or their protocol. This angered Mike and Victoria Kelley because after I told them there was nothing I could do, I ignored 3 more emails regarding this same matter. They began claiming ICP was trying to scam them out of their books. We exchanged a few less than desirable emails due their insistence and untrue convictions and persecutions of ICP. They demanded that if I did not have their book order to them by a certain date, then they were going to post reports about me and ICP 'all over the internet'. it is very hard to understand that they consider themselves 'spiritual' authors with such wanting to unduly crucify another and such bitterness in their heart that was so unjust given the reality and circumstances that were out of our hands, and only caused by them making a mistake of their own address. Then, in line with this whole comedy of errors, UPS shipped the order of (15) books to: 1410 S. 14th Ave (ICP's office address is: 1410 S. 14th STREET) So the books were delayed 2 more weeks before finally arriving at our office. The book order finally arrived at our office, at which time we were able to forward it to Mike and Victoria Kelley in Colorado. It was shipped COD, and required a Signature for delivery confirmation. The same morning that Mike and Victory Kelley received their books, they posted their scam report, just as they had threatened, if they didn't get what they wanted, fast enough. NOW .... on to their little 'scam report' statements: "If Chad publishes your book he will attempt to force you to be a part of his 'Mastermind Principle' making you to direct all website traffic to his site only. He has NO 3RD PARTY VERIFICATION SYSTEM of books being sold and you have to rely on his word." Mike and Victoria Kelley actually think I created the concept of the Mastermind Principle. InnerCircle Publishing is about 'working together'. It is hard to understand why this is such an awful thing. We all need to work together, this is what life is about for everyone to be successful. no one does it alone and this is the principle of our company. - No we do not have a 3rd party verification system, nor are we willing to pay another outside organization a percentage of all of our book sales just to obtain one, our authors receive 100% net, this would also cut out of their profit. And yes, the authors are relying on ICP to report bookstore sales ... the same as ICP is relying on Ingram to report the sales. "If you do not follow what he says about the way your books are sold through ICP he will then threaten to cancel your contract. We had our contract threatened at least 3 times." This is 100% true. You see, months before this book order obstacle there were 2 occasions that came to my attention on how Mike and Victoria Kelley were operating, and these were CONTRARY to the design and function of ICP that they wished to initially be part of the concept of 'working together' hence they wished to publish their book with us 1. On their website Mike and Victoria Kelley were claiming to be publishers under the name: Genus House Publishing. They had listed their book (which ICP published) as if it was created by Genus House Publishing. They were FRAUDENTLY advertising themselves as publishers and offering their 'publishing services' based on OUR work. There was NOT ONE MENTION of ICP, or our web address on their page with the book. Anyone viewing the site was given the {FALSE} impressing that Mike and Victoria Kelley actually had a publishing company (if they could actually publish books, then why did they pay us to do it for them?) ... and that this imagined publishing company of theirs had just produced it's first title: Catch Falling Stars. So I called them and mentioned all of this and their response was, "Oh, yeah, we didn't realize that, we're sooooo sorry, we'll correct it immediately." And they did ... 2. They added a tiny link to ICP at the bottom of their site AND they even were nice enough to take ALL of our ICP books covers and display them on their site. (as we had words regarding how they were UNWILLING to cooperate, and how they ONLY promoted themselves.) So now it looked like their imaginary publishing company had not only published one great looking book, but over 60! This completely baffled us on many levels. One of the other MAJOR problems we always had with Mike and Victoria Kelley (aside from their delusions) is their attitude .... this was taken from their site: "The answers in "Catch Falling Stars" are unlike 99% of the "New Age Babble" that has been foisted on the spiritual community. That is because most of these so called spiritual help books and sites, are created solely and written in whole by flawed people;" Are you kidding? At this point, we no longer wanted to work with Mike and Victoria Kelley, for them to be so blatantly egotistic when they are calling themselves 'enlightened people'. "After our contract with Inner Circle Publishing was canceled, Chad continued to sell our Book CFS on the internet. We were still able to purchase our book easily and without any problems. Yep. That's 100% true. Once we remove a title from print, booksellers who have existing stock of that title can (and will) still sell the copies they have in stock. So, that's the bottom line, and the reason why this ONE negative report in 10 years (and over 60 titles) is now on the internet. And why? Because Mike and Victoria Kelley shipped books to Florida ... WHEN THEY LIVE in Colorado. And I couldn't fix it fast enough for them. And one last thing ... Mike and Victoria Kelley claim there were discrepencies in the bookstore sales records regarding their title. Their title, Catch Falling Stars, sold a grand TOTAL of 14 copies via bookstores during the time it was in print with InnerCircle Publishing. How can there be discrepancies in the sales of a book, that does not sell? Their 'report' was brought to my attention months ago, and I've let it slide. Until, now. {And I have not even bothered to waste the energy to mention the supposed CURSE Mike and Victoria Kelley claim to have placed on us.}

Anyone viewing the site was given the {FALSE} impressing that Mike and Victoria Kelley actually had a publishing company (if they could actually publish books, then why did they pay us to do it for them?) ... and that this imagined publishing company of theirs had just produced it's first title: Catch Falling Stars. So I called them and mentioned all of this and their response was, "Oh, yeah, we didn't realize that, we're sooooo sorry, we'll correct it immediately." And they did ... 2. They added a tiny link to ICP at the bottom of their site AND they even were nice enough to take ALL of our ICP books covers and display them on their site. (as we had words regarding how they were UNWILLING to cooperate, and how they ONLY promoted themselves.) So now it looked like their imaginary publishing company had not only published one great looking book, but over 60! This completely baffled us on many levels. One of the other MAJOR problems we always had with Mike and Victoria Kelley (aside from their delusions) is their attitude .... this was taken from their site: "The answers in "Catch Falling Stars" are unlike 99% of the "New Age Babble" that has been foisted on the spiritual community. That is because most of these so called spiritual help books and sites, are created solely and written in whole by flawed people;" Are you kidding? At this point, we no longer wanted to work with Mike and Victoria Kelley, for them to be so blatantly egotistic when they are calling themselves 'enlightened people'. "After our contract with Inner Circle Publishing was canceled, Chad continued to sell our Book CFS on the internet. We were still able to purchase our book easily and without any problems. Yep. That's 100% true. Once we remove a title from print, booksellers who have existing stock of that title can (and will) still sell the copies they have in stock. So, that's the bottom line, and the reason why this ONE negative report in 10 years (and over 60 titles) is now on the internet. And why? Because Mike and Victoria Kelley shipped books to Florida ... WHEN THEY LIVE in Colorado. And I couldn't fix it fast enough for them. And one last thing ... Mike and Victoria Kelley claim there were discrepencies in the bookstore sales records regarding their title. Their title, Catch Falling Stars, sold a grand TOTAL of 14 copies via bookstores during the time it was in print with InnerCircle Publishing. How can there be discrepancies in the sales of a book, that does not sell? Their 'report' was brought to my attention months ago, and I've let it slide. Until, now. {And I have not even bothered to waste the energy to mention the supposed CURSE Mike and Victoria Kelley claim to have placed on us.}

Before I even begin to address anything Mike and Victoria Kelley claim in their 'report' ... here are the facts: Mike and Victoria Kelley published 'Catch Falling Stars' with ICP. Mike and Victoria Kelley placed a wholesale order for (15) copies of their book. Mike and Victoria Kelley live in Colorado at: 428 Thor Court Acres Green Subdivision LITTLETON , CO 80124 United States Mike and Victoria Kelley have another home in Florida at: 1006 South Street NEW SMYRNA BEACH , FL 32168 United States Mike and Victoria Kelley shipped their wholesale order of (15) books to: [Order Date: 11/24/2008 - Shipping Date: 11/26/2008 Customer PO: 71F780792G746520D] 1006 South Street NEW SMYRNA BEACH , FL 32168 United States Mike and Victoria Kelley contacted me about 2 weeks later to inquire as to why they had not received their order of (15) books. Requesting that I track them, I tracked the order and found the books were shipped to: 1006 South Street NEW SMYRNA BEACH , FL 32168 United States .... but since Mike and Victoria Kelley were in Colorado, there was no one home to receive the delivery in Florida, and UPS returned the shipment to 'Sender' (which in this case happened to be our PA Facility) Upon receiving this information, Mike and Victoria Kelley decided to place another order of (15) copies, this time to be shipped to their actual location in Colorado. The order processed, shipped and delivered. [Order Date: 12/1/2008 - Shipping Date: 12/4/2008 Customer PO: 7EU99346JU154040V] Mike and Victoria Kelley requested that I contact UPS and have the books they shipped to Florida (which were now in Pennsylvania) re-shipped to them in Colorado. I contacted UPS only to find out they were already being sent back to the 'Originator' of the shipment (which was our ICP office in Yakima, WA) ... and there was nothing I could do to have them forwarded to another address, or acquire the books any faster. We cannot control UPS or their protocol. This angered Mike and Victoria Kelley because after I told them there was nothing I could do, I ignored 3 more emails regarding this same matter. They began claiming ICP was trying to scam them out of their books. We exchanged a few less than desirable emails due their insistence and untrue convictions and persecutions of ICP. They demanded that if I did not have their book order to them by a certain date, then they were going to post reports about me and ICP 'all over the internet'. it is very hard to understand that they consider themselves 'spiritual' authors with such wanting to unduly crucify another and such bitterness in their heart that was so unjust given the reality and circumstances that were out of our hands, and only caused by them making a mistake of their own address. Then, in line with this whole comedy of errors, UPS shipped the order of (15) books to: 1410 S. 14th Ave (ICP's office address is: 1410 S. 14th STREET) So the books were delayed 2 more weeks before finally arriving at our office. The book order finally arrived at our office, at which time we were able to forward it to Mike and Victoria Kelley in Colorado. It was shipped COD, and required a Signature for delivery confirmation. The same morning that Mike and Victory Kelley received their books, they posted their scam report, just as they had threatened, if they didn't get what they wanted, fast enough. NOW .... on to their little 'scam report' statements: "If Chad publishes your book he will attempt to force you to be a part of his 'Mastermind Principle' making you to direct all website traffic to his site only. He has NO 3RD PARTY VERIFICATION SYSTEM of books being sold and you have to rely on his word." Mike and Victoria Kelley actually think I created the concept of the Mastermind Principle. InnerCircle Publishing is about 'working together'. It is hard to understand why this is such an awful thing. We all need to work together, this is what life is about for everyone to be successful. no one does it alone and this is the principle of our company. - No we do not have a 3rd party verification system, nor are we willing to pay another outside organization a percentage of all of our book sales just to obtain one, our authors receive 100% net, this would also cut out of their profit. And yes, the authors are relying on ICP to report bookstore sales ... the same as ICP is relying on Ingram to report the sales. "If you do not follow what he says about the way your books are sold through ICP he will then threaten to cancel your contract. We had our contract threatened at least 3 times." This is 100% true. You see, months before this book order obstacle there were 2 occasions that came to my attention on how Mike and Victoria Kelley were operating, and these were CONTRARY to the design and function of ICP that they wished to initially be part of the concept of 'working together' hence they wished to publish their book with us 1. They had listed their book (which ICP published) as if it was created by Genus House Publishing. They were FRAUDENTLY advertising themselves as publishers and offering their 'publishing services' based on OUR work. There was NOT ONE MENTION of ICP, or our web address on their page with the book.
