Instacart Instacart.com Instacart Delivers Cockroaches Tampa FL
I got the grocery bags from the shopper and placed them on my entry floor, dozens of cockroaches pored out of the bags and scurried around my house. I shouted for the shopper to come back. They did, and confirmed that they had just delivered a grand old serving of roach infestation. They said all they could do is let customer service know.
The same driver was delivering groceries from two different stores. They stated it must have come from one of the stores, however, the roaches were rampant in both store's respective bags..... So thick I find it impossible that they had no idea.
After waiting to hear something back, I called customer service. They said it was never called in. The CS rep stated that I should go buy some roach killer for the problem they caused. They issued a refund. CS left it at that and said there was nothing else they would do.
I tried the help line and it was not helpful. I talked to a supervisor and they said this new problem they caused is all on me. Has anyone else had any similar experience with Instacart? Is this common with them?
