Intechnics A&B Enterprises, Steven Grant, Henry Goodman, Linda Scott Shipping Scam Wildomar, California
I was hired by A&B Enterprises online. I received a response to my resume which I sent to Career Builder.com. I had just been fired from my job a few weeks earlier and was thrilled I could stay at home and work and earn some money to pay my bills. I was a bit leery about the whole thing, sounded too good to be true. You know the old saying? Well, it's right on the money!
They sent me supplies (paper, ink cartridges for my printer, packing tape, and even a camera for taking pictures of the "goods"). I was beginning to think to myself, why would they send me all this stuff if it wasn't on the up-and-up?
Afew days after I received my supplies the shipments began coming to my home. I thought, hey, this is cool. An easy way to earn money. I felt a bit uneasy about ripping off the old labels and applying A&Bs labels, but I just figured it was so the customer would see the company they purchased the goods from. After all, Walmart puts their name on products manufactured by other companies.
So, for every thing I was leery about, I came up with a logical explanation. Until I was supposed to get paid. The deal was, I would get my first paycheck (paypal) 30 days after my first shipment. It never happened.
I emailed my "logistics manager", Steven Grant, and he was apologetic and said he would check with "Linda" and get back to me. I never heard back from him. I sent several more emails, even called him and left several messages. Nobody ever returned my emails or my phone calls.
Fortunately, I kept the last two shipments, a laptop and a camera, as I was not going to ship these until I got paid. I am upset with myself for falling for this. Every time I think I have found something good (because my luck stinks), it ends up being a scam.
I would like some info on what I should do next about this. Anyone with any knowledge regarding the same, have any suggestions?
