I've had to deal with the aforementioned collection agency for the past several months. Now, I will admit that the debt is mine; however, when I sent them a letter, certified mail at that, and asked to make payments, they never responded. I snet them a letter back saying the deal was null and void, and then, and only then, do they have the gall to tell me that 'no adequate response was received.'

Since the beginning of this month, one of their agents (a man calling himself 'Dave Andrews') has been calling my father's apartment looking for me. (It may also be interesting to know I don't live in my father's apartment; I live below him, and don't give out his telephone number. It is, however, listed in the phone book.) HE mustnot have realized that the certified letter (which was signed for as well) also stated that there were to be no phone calls made to me either at home or at work. This 'Mr. Andrews' also called my cell phone, and left a message on it on the 15th of this month. Well, enough is enough, and I've hired a lawyer, and will take things from there.

If you ever have to deal with these idiots, make sure you document everything, and send everything certified mail. Oh, and before I forget, Integrated Credit Solutions was fined $1.8 million dollars by the Attorney General of California. They also have a bad reputation with the BBB in Los Angeles.

Well, Mr. Andrews flaunted the FDCPA again...called my cell phone. However, this time around, he forgot to block the phone number. When I answered, Dave identified himself. In a short sentence, I told him to call my attorney, gave him the number, and hung up on him. As soon as I got home, I fired off another email to my lawyer, and haven't heard from him since. Funny how when you tell a scumbag collection agency you have a lawyer they back off really quickly.
