My boyfriend and I went to look at a vehicle early November 2008. We returned two days later and purchased a 2008 Dodge Ram; however, we were contacted approximately 5 days later and informed there were problems with financing and we needed to return the vehicle.

We called back and arranged to bring the vehicle back a few days later (due to work conflicts). Meanwhile we had spoken with another entity about purchasing a vehicle.

When we returned to Integrity to return the vehicle, the customer service agent we spoke with (James Garner) began threatening us that they would finance the truck without further discussion in order to "screw [our] credit and force [us] to pay for two vehicles." They additionally had already cashed our down payment check and were giving us the run around as to returning the money.

The general manager finally stepped in and attempted to resolve the situation. He asked us to test drive a car for the weekend and then talk to him after a few days about retaining our business with their dealership. He also refunded the down payment.

When we returned the vehicle after the weekend (per the agreement with the GM), the GM was not around so we spoke with James Garner again, and he took ownership of the keys and told us we did not need to sign any other papers or talk to anyone.

We had intended to return a few days later to speak with the GM about a vehicle, but when I got home from work the next day there was a message on our answering machine from the original salesman stating, "Mr. ______, dropping the truck off, you didn't tell anybody or nothing, man. That shows low courage. You're a pretty low person. And then you blame everyone else for your rotten credit. That's pretty bad, man, you know. I mean, you know, you can't blame us for you not paying any bills. You're pretty low dude, and you call us low or I'm low or some else in here is low? And then you blame everybody else? Blame yourself. You're a pretty low person dude."

I called and left a message for the GM regarding this phone call and hope he will resolve this issue, but I found the professionalism and customer service of the two other agents (James Garner and the original salesman, David Linden) to be highly inappropriate and unethical, particularly now as we are receiving nasty messages at home.

(Addendum) The GM, John Summer, has been very helpful and cooperative in dealing with our issue, and my boyfriend was able to reach him on the phone later that evening. He indicated he was intending on firing the salesman who left the message on our phone, as we played the message for him and he agreed it was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. The individual in finance (Trevor) was also very helpful during our interactions with the company and apologetic for any inconvenience we had experienced. Unfortunately, the behavior of Mr. Linden and Mr. Garner have ruined our experience with this dealership to the point that I no longer want to work with this company regardless of any deal they could offer to us.
