Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
IEP conned us into making hotel reservations through them for a show in Chicago in March, 2011. In the weeks leading up to the show they continually told us that we could not contact the hotel directly. That only IEP had access to our reservations (red flag).

The week before the show we finally called the hotel directly. Only 10 of the 22 rooms were actually reserved. No other reservations had been made. We had to scramble to make new reservations at a higher rate. Meanwhile, we tried multiple times to reach IEP and resolve this "misunderstanding". No one was ever available to talk.

The only person we could reach was the receptionist and she continued to apologize, transfer us to voice mail, take messages and say that Michelle or Leo or Leslie would call us right back. No one ever called.

This is a total scam!

The owners of this company, Vanese and Jason Hearne, are known for ripping off people in the travel agent industry.  Jason has another company known as itravel inc.  If you look up that company they have a F rating with the BBB.  That is a very common practice for unethical businesses.  They keep renaming the company so their history does not look as bad.

The other companies website is: itravelhousing.com.  You can find out their rating by going to BBB.org and searching for them under that name.  I am sure it won't be long before IEP will start using another name when their BBB rating drops to an F.

The same thing happened to us.  I believe it's time to bring a class action lawsuit.  We are trying to contact others who have been ripped off by IEP.

Did you ever get a full refund or did they try to penalize you 10% for THEIR mistake??
