International Profit Associates Thinking of Working for IPA? read my letter of resignation first ripoff Buffalo Grove Illinois
I, Walter J. Partyka, hereby resign from International Profit Associates effective immediately (Monday, March 6, 2006). However, my resignation is not submitted regrettably. I have come to learn that IPA is nothing more than a sophisticated telemarketing scam at best. I do not want my name to be sullied by continuing to work for IPA.
IPA exercises unfair labor practices: Expecting someone to travel the country, stay in hotels 4-5 nights/week, rent cars, pay for gas, and eat on a $525.00 weekly per diem is insulting. Any legit company would cover expenses in full or at least provide a base salary. IPA's practices would be fair if I happened to be hired as an independent contractor, which I was not.
After noticing that IPA has 480+ complaints with the Better Business Bureau, I delved further into the company's history. There was no shortage of former employees who have been scammed by IPA not to mention thousands of clients. There is a serious issue when your relatively small employer as more BBB complaints than a Fortune 100 Airline that deals with in excess of 230,000 people/day.
In addition, there is no accountability with IPA. Numerous people have pointed out to me that it is odd that as a consultant my business cards lack my cell phone number or e-mail address. IPA specifically does this to keep people in the dark, hence the perpetuation of their scam. There is no follow up or accountability of jobs I've sold and therefore I cannot predict my future paychecks assuming the jobs even went through.
Naturally, I guess this is what you would come to expect from a company founded by people of such questionable character. I cannot fully put to words the shame I feel working for a man who was convicted of attempted grand larceny, patronizing a 16-year-old prostitute, and debarred from the New York Bar Association.
I expect the remainder of my future commissions to be paid in full in addition to my expenses.
