Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I received a phone call fron an individual calling himself " JohnDawkins" from international Timeshare Network asking if I had any timeshare time or timeshares that I would either like to rent or sell. He stated that he could resell my Florida timeshare for between $13,800 -$ 15, 500 within 180 days with a money back guarantee. If I was only interested in renting my weeks for now, he would guarantee to be able to rent my week in Florida for $2100 per week, for any and all weeks I wanted to rent and then resell my property when the time came that I wanted to sell it. This was to include all rentals, and the sale of the property eventually. It would include all paperwork, legal documentation for rentals, sales etc... He gave me his Licence # TC3575 and assurances that the company was legitimate and encouraged me to do my own search, warning me that BBB rating did not reflect well because they did not "pay" for an "A" grade like Sears and the Bay.He also gaveme a legal verification #20387733 that was supposed to be the number for calling up our recorded phone conversation. He gave me two guarantee's that 1) the fee would cover unlimited rental and sale at any given time and 2) if someone else rented or sold our property before they did then we would be refunded the $1495.00 because they would not be taking "credit for someone else selling the property". Since I own this timeshare with my parents, I got both of them on the phone during a second phone call, so all the details could be reviewed again. They explained the fee once again and the guarantees explaining that they would guarantee 100% money back guarantee if they could not rent( or sell) our week within 180 days. I had just paid a fee to RCI to extend my week in Florida so that I could attempt to rent it out and recoup some of my losses, so I felt fortunate to have this guaranteed offer to rent my week within six months with the 100% money back guarantee. A second " verifier" was then put on the line to verify all the information given. They also stated that both guarantees and all the details covered in the conversation would be sent to us in a hard copy and then we would have a full 7 days to review and sign the documents or cancel if we chose to do so. The verification person " Larry Saunders" gave us a Licence #TP33404 and stated he was simply a verifier and that he had a very limited time (2 or 3 minutes, I am not sure of the exact time frame) recording time to review the stated contract and our credit card, name .. Information and that we could not interrupt her or ask any questions once the recorded had been started. When we questioned this he stated he was not associated with International Timeshare Network, but simply a " verifier" that was following Florida state rules laid out by the government over which they had no control. He referred us back to "John" to ask further questions then again we were put through to the verifier and told we could only answer in the affirmative, not interrupt during the recording or ask any questions. We again objected to this as a questionable business practice and stated our concerns that we didn't ' t know him from "Adam" and if we had questions we would be asking them. Again we were transferred to "John Dawkins" to ensure we were satisfied with all the information and guarantees and he once again advised us his job was to read the agreement in a very limited specified time. We were extremely uncomfortable with this whole process but nonetheless carried through with it. We did receive the documents via e- mail and everything seemed to be as the said it would be. The following week I tried to get a hold of John Dawkins and could only speak to his assistant or secretary. Needless to say after various attempts to contact " John Dawkins" our Florida week was never rented nor sold, but our money was gone.

My parents are both retired and I am a single mother with 3 children on an indefinite leave of absence due to illness from my work as an Emergency Room Nurse. Clearly we are not wealthy people. I am filing this report to try to prevent other victims from falling prey to this scam.

Please feel free to contact me to verify any of the above information or ask further questions. I want to do whatever can be done to stop these criminals.
