Interval Disney Vacations / World Travel Nationwide Holiday Host INC Free Bahamas Cruise & Stay Rip Off Ormond Beach Florida
I read a report on this website regarding a scam with interval disney vacations and it was like reading my experience except he reported to PayPal and got his money returned and we went on the trip. Was he ever smart!
I got a call at home and thought it was about a cruise I was booking through another membership that we have. They implied I had already agreed so I ended up paying a $600 registration fee and I would get a free cruise to Bahamas and a two night stay as well as a few days in Orlando and Fort Lauderdale a free car rental and disney tickets. We were just required to attend a time share presentation.
I booked the cruise and stay in Bahamas. I checked out the resort on Trip Advisor and because of reviews upgraded to the Island Seas Resort instead of Island Palm Marinas. Free cruise! Port fees and the resort fees for the upgrade were an additional $638.00. This is over and above the registration fee of $600.00. In addition we were charged a service fee or tax of $30 a night at the resort. Add the parking at $60 and this free cruise has now cost me $1328.
There is no way I would have purchased the timeshare presented and the agent suggested we tip her since we were not purchasing???
The cruise on the grand celebration was nice but you can pay in full for less than the free cruise through interval disney vacations.
Outrageous. Do not buy this package!
