Interval Realty Services Took my payment to list my property but did NOTHING. No Contact either! Winter Park Florida
On 6/19/07 I received a phone call from a slaesman at Interval Realty asking me if I would let them list my timeshare for rental. I was driving home to Penn. from Maine at the time so I asked him (Michael) to call me tomorrow after I had been able to get home and settled. He said ok and we ended the call. 30 minutes later he called me again and said that he called me back because he hated to see me possibly lose a great oppurtunity to rent my timeshare and waiting 1 more day might hurt my chances. He went on to tell me that he had received a phone call from a company that needed a block of rooms at my timeshare location and they had already found 4 rooms but needed a total of 6 for a business trip. By listing my timeshare at this time, he could almost guarentee that it would be snatched up by this guy that needed the rooms. I again told him that I was driving and would he please give me about an hour to get home and pease call me later. He agreed and we ended the call. I was a bit pleased since this sounded great and that he already had a renter for my condo before I even listed it. This was going to be a nice quick transaction. Well about 20 minutes later he called again. He again wanted to stress to me that I might lose this oppurtunity and he wanted to get the transaction completed as soon as possible. I pulled off the road and got out my credit card and we did the transaction. Before the call ended he told me that I would need to speak with a finance guy just so they could record the call to get my approval for the credit card transaction. We did all of this and he welcomed me as an associate/client and told me that he would call me in a couple days to tell me about the guy that wanted to block of rooms.
Well that call never came and no other contact from them was made either. I called on several occations and emailed them about the status and how I was lied to and all they would say is that "everything was being done to market my property" and they did not address the concern that I was lied to! I am so fed up with this company and hope that they have not lied to anyone else but I am sure that they have! I am going to make a BBB report and call my credit card company to see if I can still contest the charge. Also in the paperwork that they sent me there was a letter that said "if your property is not sold or rented in 180 days, we will give you a 3 day/2 night vacation. What a crock! I guess the jist of this is to warn anyone else about dealing with this immoral company.

Also in their listing of my timeshare they don't evenhave the right picture. It is some genetic picture of a bluiding.
