Ironwood Kennel did not provide dog's registration papers. Internet, Internet
In December of 2010 I bought a redbone coonhound puppy from Janet Ford of Irons Michigan. I paid $400 for the dog with the expectation that she was registered. Janet had told me that when she shipped the puppy she would attach her registration papers and her vet health certificate to the crate, I got the vet certificate but no papers.
Janet told me that she was in a rush that day and had simply forgotten to send them and would mail them to me a.s.a.p, then I heard nothing from her for a couple months. I emailed her again telling her I had yet to receive the papers, and she responded saying that she had just moved and her son was living in her old house, she said the papers were there and she would send them right away. She told me that if I didn't get them within 2-3 days to email or call her.
I still never got the papers, and then she stopped responding to me, she did not answer emails or phone calls. I contacted the United Kennel Club and they said they could not intervene with the situation, all I could do was take legal action against her.
I bought this dog because I already had a registered male redbone and intended on one day breeding them, but now that I have no papers for my female, as far as breeding goes she was a waste of money, although she is our lovable family pet.
