ISPVIP.BIZ And SERVICEONLY.COM
ISPVIP.BIZ Pasadena, California, U.S.A.

Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I found their "professional" web-site for isp services. I joined but canceled in less than a week during the "30day" free trial. I could not get the "e-mail service" to work even after serveral calls to their "tech dept". I canceled via there web-site under "customer support" cancellation.

They have continued to charge my Visacheckcard every month since then. I have e-mailed (May 2004)their customer support, technical support, advertizing, sales department, legal department, office of the VP and office of the CEO. I got an e-mail response from "Gregg", who said he will take care of the matter. That was 2 month's ago.

I e-mailed all the above again (June 2004) after they drafted another 12.95 from my account. Got a response from "Gregg" again and he said he could not find my account. I said look at the account that they are applying my 12.95 to each month, and that will be the one!. He said would look into it.

In July 2004 I mailed all of them again after ispvip.biz drafted my account again. No answer from anyone. Not even "Gregg".

You ask, why don't I just cancel the card. I have many "legit" drafts I.E., phone company, electric company, satellite company and a few more. However, I have now cancelled it seeing that ISPVIP.BIZ is non-responsive to my correspondence.

This company appears and sounds professional. But try to cancel...and all that disappears. I know that AOL gets alot of complaints to, but aleast they have e-mailed me when I had an issue with them. ISPVIP.BIZ and SERVICEONLY.COM apparently have a shoddy system for keeping track on their customers. Their experts when it comes to collecting your money, but have no idea who it belongs to.

Looking for a good ISP?

Then don't look to ISPVIP.BIZ or Serviceonly.com

Thank you Sam for "doing all that you can do for this customer". As "the customer", you have not done anything but berate and belittle this customer for having a "legitimate" complaint. You drafted money from my account for 6 months even though the "services" were canceled, during the "trial period", even as you stated in your first entry. No Sam...."doing all that you can do for this customer" is not what you meant. What you really meant was " we've done all we can do "to" this customer". Word of mouth is your best form of advertizing. I'll be sure to help you out. And "Sam of Quality Control", I wish you a grand and profitable future.................

To Whom It May Concern, We have done all we can as an ISP to please this client. However, the client utilized the services to the fullest extent. The company has always done its best, but on occasion there are those who seek to find something for nothing, and in the case of a FREE Trial where we delivered competently, we would expect a fair evaluation and not blind criticism, nor someone to use our free service and cancel, then attempt to sign-up again for another FREE Trial; especially when the clients usage has cost the company more than what the actual small monthly fee is. Thank you for your consideration to this rebuttal. As to Gary, I wish you well and good fortune in the future.

ISPVIP.Biz and SERVICEONLY.com are the scams!

The Original Rip-Off Report Text: This is in response to Sam of "Quality Control" at ISPvip.biz I have put in "parenthesis" my answer to each of his statements: >>> The ink on this customers cancellation wasn't EVEN DRY, when they attempted to sign up for ANOTHER "free trial" account." (After I signed up for the ISP service I was was "studying" the web-site, I saw that I could invite others to join the ISP also, s ISPVIP.BIZ offered a "residual" income to all who joined under my name. So I upgraded, so I thought, to this new service. I did not know that I was setting up "another account". I thought it was just an "upgrade" to my existing account.) "Sam, ISPVIP.BIZ said: "This person, obviously thought they had a great scam going... Signup for a 30 day trial, and cancel, then signup and cancel, signup and cancel." (To set the matter straight, I only canceled ONE time. The fact that you treat this as a "scam" that I was trying to pull is just revealing your "paranoia". I'm am sure your "callous" remarks are a result of others "scamming" you. You cannot tell the difference between a "scam" and a customer who has a "legitimate" issue. Perhaps a course in "customer service" would help. A problem or compalint that a customer has can be an opportunity to make you and the company look good.) "Sam, ISPVIP.BIZ wrote: "We caught him and he is angry. (Sounds as though you are a "great detective". I was the one to initiate this entire process. If I hadn't, you would still drafting 12.95 every month. Yes I was upset with the continued drafing from my account the monthly fee you charge when I canceled in 02/2004. Would you allow someone to do that to your checking account?) "Sam, ISPVIP.BIZ wrote: "Even after all this we still refunded him." (Again, it sounds as though Sam has gone the "extra mile" with my complaint. I have not received any money from ISPVIP.BIZ or Serviceonly.com or from Sam or anyone else from your company as of 09/22/2004. However, I talked to "Gregg" on August 19th, after I got a "fax response" from the company with his direct phone number on it,(after I sent "6" faxs in one day to get their attention) and he did take responsibility for the situation. He was very polite, apologetic and professional in his handling of this matter. He told me then that he would send out a check for $40 and I agreed. "Gregg" said he would take care of this situation without saying I was trying to "scam" him or the company. He did not belittle or berate me as a customer as did Sam, Quality Control, for not "canceling properly". The difference is that "Gregg" probably has a "vested" interest in seeing that ISPVIP.BIZ succeeds as a profitable business. Sam, Quality Control, on the other hand, is more than likely an "hourly" employee that gets paid the same whether he treats customers, and their issues, right and not.) And here is an additional update for thoses of you considering this ISP. "Gregg" has not sent any check to me as of 10/07/2004. "Sam of Quality Control" probably convinced him that it was not in the best interest of ISPVIP.BIZ to send the $40 check to me as, "Sam, of Quality Control" is convinced I was scamming them. ISPVIP.BIZ is the scam in my opinion as their "word" is no good.

We caught him and he is angry: Gary (this customer) made the mistake..

This customer, signed up for the 'free trial' for 30 days. In that time they were not billed. They used and abused the services we offer and the cost on the network alone exceeded our average cost per subscriber by 2x (100%). This customer did not cancel properly. However once their cancellation was received properly finally after this customer was contacted by us...we cancelled the account and no further charges were incurred. THEN>>>> The ink on this customers cancellation wasn't EVEN DRY, when they attempted to sign up for ANOTHER "free trial" account. This person, obviously thought they had a great scam going... Signup for a 30 day trial, and cancel, then signup and cancel, signup and cancel. We caught him and he is angry. Even after all this we still refunded him. Sam Quinn Quality Control ISPVIP
