I have been a member of iwin games for over a year now, I have purchased at least 17 games with either cash or icoins and cash. Every purchase that has been made with icoins even when I purchased a back up cd has had problems. I have attempted many times to cancel my membership and stop the $9.99 cent charge being deducted from by checking account every month.

They do not offer a phone number for customer service issues. I have had to rely on sending e-mail help requests that are never answered. There is nowhere on the website that allows the customer to disenroll from icoins membership or cancel credit card or bank card automated payments. I am able to see my account profile and have tried deleting all account information but if I go right back in to my account information it is there again.

The last backup cd I purchased with icoins came in the mail and it was corrupted with a trojan horse virus I was not prepared for this and attempted to delete the game entirely because it would not install correctly or play at all. My AVG antivirus program alerted me to the virus. So I was good. All of this is on top of my computer being corrupted in December 2008 by iwin and an iwin tool bar possessing itself to my internet explorer. I have spent hundreds of dollars on repairs to my new laptop, it has been in the shop 3 times in the last 6 weeks.

Since December i continued to be charged my 9.99 cent a month for my icoins so they had built up to over 3000 icoins since December. I decided to purchase a game and backup disk for half of my icoins. iwin took all of the coins and billed my account another $9.99 the next day. I could not stop the payment and can not stop the monthly deductions from my account. I do not know how to make them stop charging me for games that do not work or contain viruses that are causing me a great deal of frustration. Nor will they offer any kind of support to help me resolve any issues. What do I do?

I have been a member of Iwin since 2007 and never have experienced anything like this. I have canceled my account numerous times for months that I knew I would not be able to afford the extra money. I am charged 6.99 a month for the months that I am supposed to be charged for and never have had any viruses or trojans at all. As for your AVG I used to have that and I got rid of it because it picks of certain things that it does not reconize and calls it a trojan just because it doesn't reconize it. It actually said that Nortons was a trojan. But that  is off topic. If you couldn't find where to cancel you find that whe you go to your account on www.Iwin.com. You said in your report that you found that but just in case you click on your username and that is a dropdown box. Click account and that takes you to your account. Then you clcik on the tab that says membership info. Then a little ways down the page it says in bold black letters next billing cycle begins and then there is a date how much is going to be charged and whether is will be from a cresit card or paypal account. Then right after that there is a link to change billing methos from a paypal account to credit card or vice versa. then right after that there is a link that says cancel my account. It sounds alot longer than it takes to get there but it has always been there. If it isn't there then you are not on the real Iwin. I really hope this info has helped you. Also they do have the support page where you can submit a ticket for support. I have gotten refunds for games that haven't worked on my computer before and I have used there live chat before. I honestly don't know where to find the live chat it just popped up one time and asked if I needed help and I did at the time. I know that you had this issue awhile ago but I hope this helps someone else if it doesn't help you any. I just wanted to give you some insight on Iwin and they are not bad.

I WILL GIVE A COMPANY ONE MISTAKE AND THEY HAD BETTER MAKE IT GOOD. ANYBODY IS ENTITLED TO ONE MISTAKE. IF, HOWEVER, AS IN YOUR CASE,, THEY CONTINUED TO MESS UP TIME AND TIME AGAIN, IT IS TIME TO PULL THE PLUG. DISPUTE THE CHARGES WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. IF THEY WON'T STOP THE CHARGES, THEN YOU NEED TO CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT. SOUNDS LIKE TO ME YOU MIGHT BE DEALING WITH ONE OF THE FAKE OUTFITS IN RED CHINA AND ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS TAKE YOUR MONEY AND YOU HAVE NO OTHER RECOURSE THAN TO STOP THE FLOW OF MONEY TO THEM. THAT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. THE ICOINS ARE JUST ANOTHER WAY TO MAKE SURE YOU STAY IN THEIR CROOKED SYSTEM BECAUSE NOBODY WANTS TO WALK AWAY AND LEAVE AN ACCUMULATION OF ICOINS -- WHICH APPARENTLY ONLY EXISTED IN THE CYBERWORLD * READ: FAKE WORLD..AND NEVER REALLY EXISTED AT ALL. YOU ARE JUST GOING TO HAVE CUT YOUR LOSSES AND STOP PAYMENT TO THEM. THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS.THEY MIGHT NOT EVEN BEEN RED CHINESE, THEY COULD BE A TONG OR THE YAKUZAH. AND NOT ONLY THAT, THEY MIGHT HAVE INSTALLED PROGRAMS ON YOUR COMPUTER WITH THESE MALWARE LADEN DISWKS THEY SENT YOU THAT WILL SEARCH YOUR COMPUTER AND SEND ALL OF YOUR E-MAIL CONTACTS AND YOUR REAL NAME AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT IS PRIVATE INFORMATION THAT YOU ARE STORING IN YOUR COMPUTER BACK TO THEM, THEY ALREADY HAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER, WHO KNOW WHAT ELSE THEY HAVE? CUT YOUR LOSSES OR ELSE RISK LOSING EVERYTHING YOU HVE. I WOULD ALSO TAKE MY COMPUTER IN TO MAKE SURE THEY DIDN'T PUT ANY ILLEGAL PROGRAMS OR DOWNLOADS ON YOUR HARD DRIVE LIKE KID PORN OR GOD KNOWS WHAT... THREE MORE GOLD NUGGETS OF ADVICE. ALWAYS GOOGLE ANYBODY YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH -- CHECK THEM OUT WITH RIP OFF REPORT AND THE FTC ( YOU NEED TO REPORT THESE PEOPLE TO THE FTC)... IF THEY DON'T HAVE A WAY TO RELIABLY COMMUNICATE WITH THEM THEN THEY ARE MORE THAN LIKELY A RIP OFF. jUST AN E-MAIL ADDRESS AND A WEB SITE DON'T COUNT... NO BRICKS AND MORTAR ADDRESS? NO TELEPHONE NUMBER THAT WORKS WITH A USA AREA CODE -- DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. KEEP YOUR PERSONAL FINANCIAL INFORMATION OFF OF THE INTERNET. AND DON'T GIVE IT TO PEOPLE WHO CALL ON THE PHONE EITHER, THIS MEANS CREDIT CARD NUMBERS, BANK ACCOUNT NUMBERS, ETC. THERE HAS BEEN A PROLIFERATION OF SCAMS AND SCHEMES ON THE INTERNET LATELY DUE TO THE BAD WORLD ECONOMIC SITUATION AND PEOPLE WHODON'T DO THEIR HOMEWORK WILL HAVE THEIR IDENTITY STOLEN AND THEIR HARD-EARNED MONEY/CREDIT FINANCES SOMEBODY ELSE'S PARTY!
