Please understand that these practices are not the Standard Operating Procedure for Rainbow. The great majority of dealers operate by everytime they promise a gift the customer has gotten it whether they bought the Rainbow or not, the deal is all they have to do is let them demo it for them. It sounds as if you were dealing with some individuals who are going about their business the wrong way. There have been people who have tried to take shortcuts or be dishonest to try and make fast money. Those individuals have always been fired when the distributor was notified. Rainbow systems are actually sold mainly by a company called Rex-air and are distributed by business owners around the country. I looked up your zip code on the website http://www.rainbowsystem.com and found the office is different then the one you were reporting. So it is safe to say the the Regional Distributor is unaware of these practices. I would suggest giving this office a call. Here is their information: J & M Distributing 3627 Linden S.E. Wyoming, MI 49548 Phone: (616) 243-5500 Fax: (616) 243-2609 Ask for the Regional Distributor, let them know you have an issue with one of his distributorships in Lansing, MI. If you get no help go to the website I gave you and contact Rex-air directly. They will take it up with the Regional Distributor and most likely the local one as well. I am sorry that you had such an experience and those who did your demonstration obviously do not understand how their business works.
