I went to jack o diamonds and spoke with Patrick Stewart. I was assured that the vehicle he was attempting to sell would not leak. It is a ford 2004 convertible. He also stated I would recieve a warrenty on this and indicated I could return the vehicle if this happen.

I went back within 24 hours and told him I wished to return the vehicle that I was dissasisfied with it. He refused to take back the car and also refused to give me a copy of the contract I had signed. I was told I signed a contract and I was stuck with the car.

I requested several times to see the contract and was denigned. I had no way of knowing if I could return the car or not. If I was able to within a certain amount of time then I would have no way of knowing this without seeing the contract.

When I Was signing the contract I felt coersed as well. I would ask questions would be strongly told to sign. I felt intimidated. I feel I was misled as to the condition of the car and that the dealership should have stopped the loan from going though as it had not yet been approved.

TX has no cooling off period

Texas does not have a cooling off period. When your new car hits the road, it is YOUR new car. Probably the best way to get a copy of your contract is from the financing bank. Now, if you can prove the *dealership* commited fraud in getting you the loan, you will be out of the loan. Look at all the documents sent to the bank, was anything changed? Good luck, and let us know how it goes.
