I feel First National Bank Alaska (Wasilla Branch) loan Officer Jack Zerbel damaged, and abused Members of Trailside Log Cabins, LLC by sending (or as they like to call it forwarding) extortion letters and committed acts of misconduct on behalf of customers Chase and Mandy Bovard.

I feel the couple felt empowered by the Bank officers help and that is why the Bovards committed these illegal acts against Trailside Log Cabins and members. The Bovards did not abide by the agreement they made between their own Attorney and Trailside Log Cabins Attorney and broke the agreement after they received part of their money back per agreement and chose help to commit acts of extortion to get the rest of the earnest money back by using the help of a bank officer Jack Zerbel to commit their illegal acts instead. All parties involved knew the Bovards were breaking the law and causing damages to Trailside Log Cabins and members.

Chase and Mandy Bovard placed illegal liens on property in July 2005 trying to get their earnest money back on a contract they broke with Trailside Log Cabins in July of 2005. The couple sent letters to Trailside Log Cabins from FNBA through a bank officer trying to force Trailside Log Cabins to pay them the earnest money back and tried to charge other fees in order for Chase and Mandy Bovard to remove the illegal lien they placed on the property, knowing members could not borrow against the property with their illegal lien on it. The liens were found to be illegal and were eventually removed by court order in Anchorage Superior court five months latter on November 22, 2005 by Judge Hopwood.

The first fax is from Jack Zerbel of FNBA stating on the FNBA cover sheet is the sentence he wrote. Chase & Mandy Bovard recorded a lien against the referenced property on November 4, 2005. Their requirements for release are stated in the attached letter. This letter from the Bovards demands money from us and says they will continue to lien the property and take legal action if we don't pay them the money. Scanned letters in jpeg available to view.

The second faxed letter is dated November 15, 2005 also faxed from FNBA. The second faxed letter was a letter that loan officer Zerbel faxed for the couple from the bank. Stated in the letter by the Bovards is that Mr. Zerbel of FNBA is a third party to the events. This letter states in exchange for money they will give us a notarized lien release exec. Can National Banks legally fax what appear to be extortion or even demand letters on behalf of their customers? Is this a service that banks provide for customers? Is this the kind of behavior that is only practiced in Alaska? Ethics are just becoming a popular issue in Alaska, just ask VECO? Are federal laws applicable in the state of Alaska or just to a select few? What kind of letters are these if they are not extortion letters?

Other members of Trailside log Cabins took out loans with FNBA in their personal names in March of 2005 to finish constructing the Bovard home the Bovards broke the contract on. The signed contract by the Bovards was required by FNBA for a member's personal loan and that can be proven by the title trust documents showing pending owner and lender name on document File no M35097 McKinley Title & Trust, INC dated March 2, 2005 at 8:00 a.m. That is how the member was to pay back their personal FNBA loan was with the house contract with the Bovards that was required for the loan of March of 2005 which Jack Zerbel loan officer helped her with.

Why did FNBA finance the Bovards other home they bought in August 2005 knowing they had a contract with a General Contractor Trailside Log Cabins, LLC for the first loan? Why would Jack Zerbel forward these kinds of letters for the Bovards? Why didn't the bank officer tell the Bovards to fax their own extortion letters from somewhere else? I would just like answers to these questions. We would like be made whole again from the damages we received from the misconducts of FNBA employee Jack Zerbel.

I have the information about this Bank Fraud at the site shown below.

The Documents speak for themselves as well as the time line, I  really don't need or want to go on about each persons morality, character or lack of as its stated with proof at the web site shown below.  You laughed at them and said they had no proof of the bank crime that destroyed their family but that's just not true.  It's nice you were able to go on and put this band fraud behind you after helping to destory them with it, how fortunate for you.  They didn't lose a couple of thousand of dollars.  They lost $300,000 dollars, the contract next to this house you were never going to buy in the first place $200,000 and they lost their home, their lively hood and much more from this bank fraud scam in Wasilla, Alaska all done on purpose by you and others as shown at their web site on their family story shown below.  It's also amazing how she knew their would be a ten year of statute of limitations much sooner than it actually happend as it wasnt at that time. It was nice to see this old report of First National Bank, Jack Zerbel documented here at this site showing this bank crime and the date and how naive they were to this specific crime and all its little parts, pieces and players here in Sarah Palins Wasilla, Alaska but now its exposed in detail at

You know, this whole situation is very sad. We are totally amazed that, after two years, you people are still so fired up about this that you feel compelled to slander and attack us with false accusations and lies over the internet. If all this was so true, and you actually had any shred of evidence that held any merit, then why did you let the lawsuit dates expire to the point the judge dismissed it? I know if somebody actually, and truthfully, brought my company to ruins, like you've accused us of, I certainly would not have let it all go. We find your reports downright comical and we are laughing at you. The fact that you have spent so much time letting the world know what "jerks" we are, when you have a company to run and a family to take care of, is the most terrible part. Really think about it. What you've actually done by filing these totally stupid, and pointless, reports against us and Jack Zerbel, who didn't have anything to do with the problem, is prove how childish you've been throughout this entire situation. You both need to take responsibility for your own actions, and mistakes, instead of pointing fingers at everybody else, that's what children do! Just know that what ever else to write back isn't going to be upsetting to us because we are done with you. You are totally unresonable, so even attemping to tell our side of the story is going to be a complete waste of time. We could spend hours on this and defend ourselves to everything you have accused us of, and all the lies you've written, but it would be a crime to trash anymore time away from our family on you people. Like we said, this is very sad. Kevin, Kim, grow up, get over it, and get back to your life. As far as we are concerned you people don't exist to us anymore and we've moved on. Last change to contract was on May 28, 2005 to tear out upstairs bedroom walls and add corner bathtub Jacuzzi to house making it a two bedroom home not three. After your change it was a 2,100 square foot two bedroom log home almost impossible to sell. What's not structural about that Chase? This is a post and beam log home. You have to plumb the place in a certain way. Why would we not wait for confirming information from FNBA that you had committed to buy this house? Why Chase? We wanted to make sure you had committed to the loan Chase and not just be another flake that comes along and then backs out. We take pride in our Log Homes Chase and pleasing our customers. We wanted you to have what you wanted. We were trying to protect ourselves as well from being taken advantage of. (Little good it did) You want to complain that its not done but requesting walls be torn down to make it a two bedroom and bigger bathroom on May 28, 2005. Isn't this a little strange after all you were looking for another house at that time. Was this change made after you agreed to buy the other home or after. Good move Chase, loves your ethics and good morals. I also love how you attack people that go to court and that are from New York. I guess you feel Kevin doesn't deserve to be treated fairly in a court of law from illegal acts. Good for you Chase at least you have some standards. This is a great tool for you and useful for how you can justify treating people like crap. All the people in New York will appreciate this as well. If you were in a hurry to get the house done why didn't you call back and pick out the light fixtures. Still waiting for you to call Chase. Can't button a house up until fixtures are picked out. You led us on for the last three weeks not returning calls and not getting Kevin the order for the light fixtures that you wanted to pick out. So for the last three weeks who put who off? We had an electrician waiting Chase. Now lets deduct that 3 weeks from the 2 and months. 1 log shell and 1 month and 3 weeks of work. I just loved how you walked in the house with your relative and tore the place apart about its quality on July1, 2005. Your relative remarked that it just looks like a fire trap to them. Well it would have been nice if one of you would have mentioned you bought another house and you were just their to harass Kevin and the workers. That would have been honest but not the type of fun you're used to having, I suppose. Yeh, great you just have this outstanding moral character but I'm having problems finding it. Come on Chase say something bout me Chase talk about how the community hates Kim. Come on. You have done nothing but destroy my world and cause grief to a disabled child from emotional turmoil inflicted on his parents by your actions. Now tell me how that's my fault? All your lies are not me and my Childs fault I will assure you. You bet, if this is the cheapest most truthful way to get back at you, I will. I didn't pay my Attorney? Well Chase, if you would have paid me what was ordered in court he would have been paid and he was paid latter. I do pay my bills Chase. You have damaged us so severely and yes this feels good. It is a pleasure to only tell the truth about you and your little corrupt group of friends. The documents speak for themselves Chase and everyone has multiple copies. Statute of limitations in Alaska is 10 years for mortgage and loan fraud. It's great you have someone to blame for the liens too. Glad this made up Attorney can be your new scap goat to why you placed the illegal liens on us. Too bad it's not real. Isn't it time to get rid of the fantasy scap goats and grow up? EXSCUSES 1. The illegal liens (were an imaginary Attorney's fault) but what about the rest. 2. What's the excuse for the house Contract you broke? 3. What's the excuse for the agreement you made between two attorneys and broke? 4. What the excuse for the illegal letters you had him fax to us? 5. What's the excuse for getting two home loans at the same time when you only qualified for one? 6. What's your excuse for not paying the fees ordered by the Judge?

I would like to tell you that I would have never posted the first report. I wrote to defend myself (Kevin) against your remarks on your rebuttal attacking me. This is not how I would have handled this situation but I have no control over others either.

1. Contract signed on end of February 28 for post and beam log Home 2. Contract states will start 14 days after notification from bank 3. Received confirming docs from bank March 24 4. Started Job in April after notifiction on terms of contract from bank 5. Changes still were being made and inserted to contract signed and dated in April. 6. Contract in Feb states house will be done end of June as is with no changes. 7. Contract breached end of June as you know why and so do I. 8. Please be honest about wanting out of contract to purchase other home. Total time worked on home on terms of contract to the breach of contract was 2 and 1/2 months not the six you are implying. Over 30 cabin kits a year are sold and some homes were constructed so you will end up in court at times over a 9 year period. Look up any contractor and you will see what I mean. You do have problems with employees as no one reading this was not mad at some point in their life when they got fired. At some point in everyones life they are a disgruntled employee as well. I'm sorry the above posting was put on this site as I would of not handled it that way but feel I must respond to this Posting by you.

I AM CHASE BOVARD, THE PERSON THAT THIS REPORT WAS WRITTEN ABOUT. THEY SAY THAT I TRIED AND EXTORTED THEM OUT OF MONEY. IF I DID THAT IS A CRIME THAT SHOULD BE REPORTED. TRAILSIDE LOG CABIN, OWNERS KIM AND KEVIN ALFONSI, WERE CONTRACTED TO FINISH AN EXISTING LOG HOME SHELL THAT THEY BUILT, STARTING IN FEB OF 2005 AND WRITTEN INTO THE CONTRACT THAT IT WOULD BE COMPLETED FIRST OF JULY. IT WAS NOT EVEN HALF DONE. I HAVE PICTURES THAT I TOOK AT THE BEGING OF CONSTRUCTION AND ON JULY, 1, 2005. I ASKED THAT OUR CONTRACT BE RE NEGOTIATED SO THAT WE WERE ALL ON THE SAME PAGE AND HE BLEW ME OFF FOR TWO MONTH TILL JULY,1, 2005. THIS HOUSE WAS BARE INSIDE, BUT HE SAYS THAT ALL THE CHANGES WERE THE CAUSE OF THE DELAY. ALL THE CHANGES WERE PRE CONSTRUCTION AND NOTHING STRUCTUAL. THIS CASE DID GO TO COURT BECAUSE WE FILED A LIEN AGAINST TRAILSIDE LOG CABIN, AND DUE TO SOME BAD ADVICE FROM A LAWYER, THESE LIENS WERE ILEGAL. TRAILSIDE LOG CABIN TRIED SUEING FOR 300K FOR DAMAGES AND SO FORTH. NOW THIS CASE IS ALL PUBLIC MATTER, GO ONTO www.state.ak.us/courts AND YOU CAN TYPE IN TRAILSIDE LOG CABIN AND SEE THAT IT WAS DISMISSED FOR A LACK OF PROGRESSION WITH THE CASE. HIS FIRST LAWYER DROPPED HIM FOR A LACK OF PAYMENT. HE HAS BEEN SUED ON MANY OTHER OCCASIONS, AS WELL AS HAD MANY LIENS PUT AGAINST HIM. WE HAVE TRACKED HIS CARRIER ALL THE WAY BACK TO NEW YORK AND HE HAS A WAY OF NEVER DOING THE RIGHT THING. THIS IS ALL BEHIND US NOW, AND THIS REPORT IS HIS WAY OF TRYING TO GET BACK AT US. THE PUBLIC RECORD ON THIS GUY KEVIN ALFONSI SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. Date of Original Lien was July 15,2005. Bovards released lien on November 2,2005 and got $9,000.00 of the earnest money back from the broken contract. November 4,2005 broke agreement between us and both of our Attorneys and placed a new liens for the rest of the money aginst the property once more. They knew somehow that a Trailside Log Cabin member was going to FNBA on November 4th to finally be ablt to borrow money aginst the property that had a lien on it for so long. Trailside could finally get the money to complete construction on the home being built so they could sell it to another party. The follwing Monday Trailside was notified they placed another lien on the property for the rest of the earnest money and the loan did not go through and Trailside Log Cabins, would still have to pay the title search fee.
