My son had a Runescape account that kept getting stolen, so we cancelled his monthly subscription in September 2010; however the charge kept appearing on my credit card statement every month.

It is now August 2011 and I'm still being charged. I've contacted Jagex/Runescape and they refuse to credit anything, despite the fact that the account had not been used (for anything other than several attempts to cancel it) in 11 months.

I am in the process of reporting to any and every agency that will listen. It's only $5.95 per month, but it's the principal that this company preys on teens and their unsuspecting parents because they think no one will miss $5.95 a month.

I'm a mom who is tired of being taken advantage of!
