They sent me an email, regarding the job I had sent my resume to. They stated that I have the required qualilfications needed, and that they would like me to schedule an online interview via Skype. Telling me the hiring manager is James Morton HR., and then gave me a verification code, telling me the job pays $25-$30 dollars an hour.

It was signed Ramco Systems, Human Resources Dept.  I went to Skype, where they had me look at their website, which they said is ramco.com, and gave me 3 minutes of my time to read about the company.  Then I was asked very simple questions, and then told I was accepted for the job, and that they will need to send me a check to pay for the software that I will need for my "mini" office and accounting software.  I knew then that this had to be a scam, and they are telling me to be on Skype tomorrow at 8 am, pst, so they can issue me a check for the purchase of this software, from a Company that they have been buying from for years. Once I get the check, they will notify me and provide me the tracking number.

The spelling in their responses was not correct, and I'm sure that this has to be a scam.

It is true. I got an email from Cabot saying I have been selected to conduct a Skype interview with James Morton HR. On the email, he attached my application, this includes my full name, resume, and cover letter for a DIFFERENT COMPANY I applied to a day before. I thought I was being interviewed by that company. During the skype interview, he was rude and cutthroat with his responses. When I asked him how Ramco and Campbell Soups were related, he said they are partners, and he followed with Ready to proceed. Iffy English and really rude. Don't reply or skype him.

He uses Skype Messenger only, does not call or use video. The job posting was for a wide variety of positions, and I was asked to choose the one I was interested in. After making my choice he told me that I will be working on my PC and would download a software from the company's manager to work on.

He states HOURS ARE FLEXIBLE 30-40 a week. You will receive $25 for a two-week online training course, and end up getting paid $30 after training.

When asked, he works FOR RAMCO. He will say that they are opening an office later in the month (will give date, he told me March 22nd) and it will all be online FOR NOW.

When confronted about the interview being a RED FLAG, he will sign off without replying.

Thank you Ripoff Report and users for letting me know this was a scam.
