JB HUNT TRANSPORTATION JB HUNT DROVE OTR. THEY MAY OFFER YOU HIGHER PAY/MILES, BUT THAT MEANS NOTHING WHEN YOU'RE AVERAGING 1000 - 1500 MILES / WEEK. LOWELL Arkansas
Recruiter baits you in with enticing pay, but the miles offered and driven sucks.
They have you sitting for days at a time. If you do get a load, usually short runs.
Force you into local runs averaging 20 - 30 miles.
Won't give you long hauls, unless you do their crappy short runs. It's blackmail.
Everything that was promised, I received none of it. Good pay, advancement opportunities. None of it.
Have to check your pay statements every week to make sure there are no errors. This was too common. Unnecessary stress.
You cannot support a family on their miles and loads.
Their planners are the worst planners I have experienced. The company is very disorganized. Customers were telling me how disorganized the company is. This was embarrassing as a driver.
Weekend crew? Don't get me started. Their worthless. It's as if no one works during the weekends. You'll most likely be sitting around waiting for Monday to come around, and then it's just another crappy short run.
Their terminals are the worst I have ever encountered and extremely filthy. Most don't even have a shower. Only vending machine food.
I've worked for many other big companies, and I have to admit every company has it's faults, but JB Hunt is definitely "hands down" is the worse company I have worked for.
