I purchased a 2002 ford taurus from Jd byrider on brookpark. I have had nothing but problems since the very moment I signed the papers a pulled the car off of the lot..... my first problem was a week after i had the vehicle it was out of alignment so i new that there had to be something wrong with the front end as we all know when you first get a car you tend to treat it like a child so to speak.... when i took it in the did the allignment on the car at no charge which if they wouldnt have they would have kept that car on their lot i told them how ridiculous this was and the girl at the service department was very friendly and agreed.... my next problem wasnt but about another two weeks into me having the vehicle It was making a funny noise in the front end sound like a rubbing noise so I called the service department and of course they couldnt get the car into the service department for two weeks so i took the car in there and the woman called me about four hours into my vehicle being there that I had to pay a 50 dollar deposit for them to fix the car I said whatever being asthough i needed my vehicle to get back to and fourth to work that evening.... the things that they replaced on the vehicle where the tires because they were wore so bad on the inside that the threads were actually showing, and a few other parts that i do not have the name to at this moment well I went and picked my vehicle up and they did not fix the problem so i called them when i got back home and told them that it was still making the noise the man on the phone had a bit of a attitude that i called him back it took another week to get it back into the shop what a pain in my A** so they took the car back in and it took them two days this time to fix the vehicle and I had to tell them to check the bearings in the driver side they tried to charge me another 50 dollars for the reapirs and i tols them that it was bull crap because if they would have fixed it the first time than i would have not of had these problems..... so needless to say if you scream enough they give you what you want.... I then demanded the records for ALL repairs that they performed on that vehicle... it took a while and I had to talk to the GM but they gave them to me... I was complaining in the office where you go to purchase the vehicles and I told them that i would never ever send anyone there for a vehicle no matter how bad they needed a car that they were rip offs and that they overpriced their cars one woman walked out thats how irrate I was.... the next time it went in it was about a month later the vehicle had a light on on the dash board and it would just shut off at red lights on me... so i called the service department and of course two weeks to get the car into the shop well i found out before i took my car in that it was the service engine light .... so they did a oil change on the vehicle and changed the oil filter and also the said that completed a tune up... I had the car about four days and I was sitting at the grocery store parked and the light came on on the dash board and the car shut off on me again I was furious being asthough I just paid my deductable -50 dollars I called them and told them that I was bringing the car in there right now and the guy told me that I had to make a appointment to bring the car in and i freaked out on him I told him this was ridiculous I JUST got the car back he once again had a attitude with me... SO i got some engine cleaner that goes into the cas and it fixed the problem how hard was that... The heat stopped working in the winter time and i have a five year old daughter and i can handle the cold but she cant and me still paying on a car i shouldnt have to deal with it .... so now i am having more problems my tire on the driver side went flat while i was driving and i noticed when i changed the tire that the tire was wore on the inside and you could see the threads so i took the car to another shop to look at it before i took it the the hack shop that dont know what they are doing... the guy at the shop told me that it needed struts and that the shop I had it at should have seen that before when they did the repairs on the front end before ... SO i took it to JD byrider and they told me that it would cost over 900 dollars to fix so i did the repairs myself alot cheaper and I knew that it was properly done... so my question is does anyone know what i can do about this who i can contact..

CARS BREAK DOWN

Cars break down! There isn't anything that anybody can do about it, especially used cars! That's what they do! Why do you think somebody got rid of it in the first place? More than likely b.c the car started to break down. There is nothing you can do about it but keep taking it in. You can yell and scream at the employees all you want but that just makes them care less about how they take care of your vehicle. No rush, no extra concern or anything. and that is no lemon law on used cars!

1)It doesn't sounds like you got a warrantyl 2) You hod the opportunity, ptior to buying the car, to have an independent mechanic look it over. ot us un the fast okace. 3) After the first problem, you kept taking it back to the place that screwed it up in the first place. Every state has laws that require 1) that a repair facilty give you a written estimate of all repairs that will be performed; 2) that the repairs performed actually be ncessary; 3) and that the repairs performed actually solve the problem at issue. Sounds like you've been screwed a few times in this regard. I would look into your state's mmotor vehicle repair facility act and see what you remedies may be. Best regards, Tim

Paragraphs are our friend. I didnt even read your entire report because it's extremely difficult to read. You have NO punctuation and without paragraphs it all bleeds together. JD Byrider is not the most upstanding company to deal with. Think about it......think about what they offer and why and you'll have your explanation.
