Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I had no idea that this company I became involved with was this disreputable. I found myself in a bad situation and needing a car. I had recently moved to the state and had no inkling that this place was "for people with no credit or bad credit."

I don't mean to insult anyone its just known that people who are down on their luck get taken advantage of, ripped off and used. Because they usually have little resources to use as ammunition.

I purchased a 1997 Caravan, I put down 1300.00 and made the first 2 months payments in advance. I would of been better off at the junkyard, because thats what I ended up with.

The cars air conditioning went out while test driving, that should of been my clue, and they promised to recharge the system, fill the coolant and get it working.

We brought the van back in and were informed that all it needed was a belt, the whole system rear and front had to be taken apart, they still couldn't find the "leak" after injecting dye into the system. We again brought it back and were told after hours of waiting that the part was the wrong one, and we would have to come back again. My husband had to bring it in for the belt tensioner to be replaced. Guess what, it went out in 100 miles, usually that happens every 100K miles.

The car has broken down 4 times in the last 6 mths, I have put out over 1800.00 to fix it at reputable garages that warranty their work and use NEW parts. When I took it in I was told that 5 different types of frayed ignition wires were used (a fire hazzard) that the spark plugs had been hammered into place and weren't even the right make for this kind of van. The belt tensioner was replaced AGAIN. And now today, 1 day after spending $500 on repairs to make the car safe, The power steering pump has disintergrated and the line needs to be flushed. Another 400.00

What is so bad is that I refused to take the car back to their "extended warranty" workshop. I spoke with several mechanics in the area and they told me that JD Byrider had used recycled parts, rebuilt parts and do a basically a crappy job. I bought the $995.00 warranty, when I purchased the car, but I cannot use it because their work costs me more money in the long run. I found out today I still owe a whopping $7300.00 on this van that has 108,00 miles on it. I know the blue book on the van is worthless.

I don't really see what I can do about any of this except warn other people maybe a expensive BUYERS BEWARE.

If anyone has any suggestions for me I would appreciate it.
