I purchased a Van in Feb from Jd Byrider from day one I heard noises was told nothing was wrong 3 days later they had to replace the shocks still more nosies coming from the van.

i was told nothing was wrong then they take it to the shop they replace the struts still nosies coming from the brakes and the transmission front end shaking they replace the motor mounts they tell me that is what happens with old brakes they make noises like that and nothing wrong with the transmission.

The shaking gets so bad I can't control the van I take it back they send it for a Wheel alignment stil no good the man at that shop tells me it is either a rim or tire problem. I bring it to jd byrider again for tranny, shaking and the brakes on 8/6 they tell me nothing is wrong I bring it to Lee myles on 8/7for a 12 point check low and behold the transmission is bad the abs motor is bad the exhaust system is leaking and noisy I am leaking power steering fluid and motor oil, the motor mount are old and weakthe computer is no good, the front end is uncontrollable

I take it back to them they now see all the problems now they tell me the transmission only has ten more mile before it would fall apart they still have my van now for a month I have one of their vans that is falling apart and worse then what I brought in. I go to an Attorney and the lemon law does not apply because its to old and my proof is not enoughPlease help

LINDA-It may be true that they have records of "fixing" Ms. Edna's vehicle, but where is the pure evidence of doing so. Did they show her the actual old parts that were taken off of the fixed vehicle and showing her the reciept of the new parts. As consumers, we do have the right to see that information. I have purchased a car from Dan Nelson myself and the employees there tried doing the same thing until I asked for proof and explained that I would not leave unless I was shown proof. How does she know for a pure fact that they did the work. MS. EDNA-, I feel for you , I know exactly what you have been through. I have not given up on my case and I don't think that you should either. Also, check the interest rate that they gave you, check the blue book value of the car/van when you purchased it, see if they overcharged you, they could get into trouble for that as well. Ask them to prove with reciepts that they did fix the vehicle and if they won't show you, or if you can prove that they didn't fix it, get an attorney or go to the Att. Gen. Office of your state and complain even more. The Dan Nelson's of Iowa and South Dakotah have been shut down and has a lawsuit filed against them by our Att. Gen. Office. You should follow up on reports and see what other victims are doing. Don't let them try to convince you that they didn't do anything wrong, they want to make you think that your complaints are not valid and that they will not be heard, but they will. If they aren't/weren't fraudulent people then they wouldn't be getting shut down and sued all over the U.S., think about it and contact me anytime.

Edna did indeed have problems with her vehicle, however to date this company has repaired or replaced, at no charge to her the following: transmission brakes struts engine mounts tires water pump shocks Plus various other items that are not covered under warranty but as a gesture of good will we absorbed the costs to the amount of over $2900.00. In addition, Ms. Edna was given the FREE use of a loaner car for the time her vehicle was being repaired. I understand her frustration, she works hard to pay her bills just like the rest of us. However she also implies that this company just sat back and did nothing to stand behind our/her vehicle. That is not true and her service records prove that we do honor that which we sell.
