J.D. BYRIDER ripoff/OngoingTransmission Problems/3rd time in 1 year Erie Pennsylvania
I purchased a vehicle from J.D. Byrider, Feb. 14, 2004. 1st problem with the transmission was less than 6 months, following purchase. Second problem was less than 3 weeks following the 1st repair. The transmission is now slipping again and it is been 7 months since the 2nd repair.
I have owned the vehicle for 1 year and 2 months now.
This is the third time that the transmission is slipping.
Unfortunately we have to take it to where we bought it, which is roughly 65 miles. This is our only vehicle.
We have asked to get a loaner for the time they have to fix our car but they will not provide us with one. This is the 3rd time that we have had this one problem and we are not going to pay for a rental car.
This is obviously their problem and we need to get our car fixed. We have asked to trade this one with another and they said no to that too!!! Our vehicle is a LEMON...
I make all my payments yet they can not get the transmission to work properly... We do not know how long they will keep it.... I can't be without a car. I consider this a major problem; that should have been fixed the first time....
