Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

believe i have suffered auto dealer fraud or consumer fraud with J.D. Byryder. Practices from internal problems with the staff becoming present in front of my mother and i ..and having to choose sides or choose salesperson. Instances where they took money under the table from me to "make the deal happen for me" asked me to step off camera to pay them their 100 in their hand. Besides the down Payment and wrote on receipt that i gave her 100 less but when mom went in to call their game. They told her i paid 200. Actually it was a week later when a first down payment of 250 was due.  I was penalized for being a day late, which they says extra fees were applied to my late account that I'm still paying on 1500 dollars later. Had i not felt like i had to give 100 to the sales person to make the deal go through....i could have had it in on time. I feel that  they lied to me about working with my budget..the fact that i didn't make that Much, and had a 4 year old and was pregnant. They assured me that because i had a recent repo, because of losing a job, that as long as i an making the payments they would report to bureaus ever month....  I'm not sure if they are even living up to that since things seem to change after i  signed the papers. Ive paid 250 every 2 weeks and they told me they would give me 3 months to pay off the down Payment...they forced me into 1 month and i had to beg for 2 months.  They lied to me about putting me on camera when i asked them they said it Was for my protection...but they did anyway and tried to rush me into signing on promises they did not keep. Reluctantly, i signed it. My mother was with me and can witness to a lot of things. Also we met another woman who had to take over payments after her son hurry himself on the job and they were seeking a lawyer as well because the cat had broken down.

Its about 3 days before my daughters birthday and the cars starter had gone out, i just bought the car 2 months ago.  Either it was the starter or something else that is draining the battery... a deputy told me.who came out of the Michigan city indiana courthouse Where i was at the time to help and he let me know these things : a bad starter, someone gave me a jump with his help and still nothing,  something was draining the battery. The people were working on the car in the cold which one was mechanic who are all willing to testify about the conduction of the supposed "checked out"  vehicle. They stated that was no was no way that the vehicle was checked a couple of mothers ago. Or even 3 monthes ago....they said they could tell by the about of dirt and residue on the battery..they could not have.possibly done a 128 pt. Check on the car like they told me they did..i had my 4 year old with me in 15° weather so i went inside with the deputy and called my mother, then the dealership. I was about 60 mins away from the dealership. I called the service department that was on site at the dealership and was told i was covered The tow place said they would be 3 hours before they could come which meant they could not start working on the car till the next day... and they said it takes 3 to five days to fix.  My daughters fourth birthday was in three days and i had already set up her party which by this time was completely non refundable. I had to rent a car also To continue working because the service supervisor told me that even though my car was broken that i still have to make my payments.

It seems they take advantage of families that Need vehicles by offering second chances and false hope. Putting them them on camera signing with Rushing That they use against us if we wanted to renegotiate our payments. They tell us that this is for our protection but they say no matter what matter what and they can repo the same night we do not make that payment...giving us to virtually noon on Paydays. Most people have Till the end of the workday at least....or a dropbox...  i am just confused. Rushing down payments to be completed but lacking on Customer service or promises the company is meant to make.under warranty but had to find a way to Get the vehicle towed to them because even though they offered warranties they did not have a tow truck.   Then after a bunch a calls to the supervisor... they finally said that they would cover tow fees for one time only and gave me a number to call for a tow.

I wish you and your children well. Car dealers are shady at best.

To ramkat: 29 pregnant with my second child because i am a surrogate mother but Thankyou so Much t for your comment. Lol I have already been assigned a lawyer by the unborn child parents Who wasn't too pleased and explain to me that they know how sales people can take advantage of consumer. Not to mention I was out in the cold with my 4 year old. I have a child who is four who has her own room in a home that i own. thanks for understanding and loving Children. now is there anything that you want to say that actually pertains to the case that will help.

Other unknown guy (sales associate vigilante) : thank you for your comments.  i am aware of your concern for the company lol but the truth is, I know that having a repo would make things harder on top of contract rules. I'm sorry that I was tricked like other consumers that were there and I'm sorry you don't see that. I'm not the only one who's car has broken down shortly after purchase and definitely not the only consumer with a case. The whole point is that they are not following through with the things they are telling customers that they are doing but they want us to pay them about 1,500 dollars for 2 months of usage andand I'm sure I'm not the only consumer was getting money under the table because they knew that their credit was bad. I thought i hsd to because of my horribly bad credit. That was the point. I'm guessing that I'm not only customer or consumer that they've been telling this to and in return an attorney have already Been assigned my case and other witnesses and consumers who have their own cases pending. not at all was I complaining about making a payment if you actually read what I said I make the payments on time except for the first. no I didn't have to go in ..no one pot a gun to my head in the physical sense...but when you are in a rural environment and needed a vehicle to work, You listen to that sales person who states that they and the company understands My concerns and will work on a Payne that goes well with my budget, when it was all just lies.

I'm sorry I should have known that they would that they would do me wrong because they were car dealership so let me first apologize for being a typical consumer. That is why i have a attorney hun (they protect consumers) its going to happen. Sorry I'm protecting myself. I just wanted to know why they said they do 128 point  check on a car that broke down 2 months later and the practices been taking money under the table. If You Google complaints by jd byryder you will see a lot of simularities in my complaints and theirs, Then you can write to them. :-) thanks.

I dearly love children but unfortunately you cannot afford them and you're having more? It's only going to get worse and they will be brought up in this sub prime attitude environment. You are not doing them any favors. No one should have chrildren until they have a good way to support them. I feel sorry for them.

Your sub-prime attitude is showing....

Had i not felt like i had to give 100 to the sales person to make the deal go through

- Why did you HAVE to give them this apparent $100?  Did they hold a gun to your head and refuse to let you leave until you paid them this money..no of course not.  As that is robbery and you would have reported it to the police.  You at anytime could have used your own two feet and walk out.  Not only that but where was your mom in all of this?  After all you said that she "called" them on this, so when she did this why didn't she take responsibility and have you leave?

Putting them them on camera signing with Rushing That they use against us if we wanted to renegotiate our payments.

- Guess what On-Camera or not, not a single dealer "renegotiates" the deal.  Or when you use the word "renegotiate" you actually want to skip payments or just pay less?

They tell us that this is for our protection but they say no matter what matter what and they can repo the same night we do not make that payment...giving us to virtually noon on Paydays. Most people have Till the end of the workday at least....or a dropbox...

- Well apparently in your case it doesn't matter when the cut-off time is as you didn't make those either.  After all you already had one repo and that is why you had to go here...right?

Not only this but you had a starter go out 2 months after you bought it, and it was covered under warranty.  You are just commplaining that it would take 3-5 days to get it fixed.   You then complain because they still want you to make your payment.  Well guess what...EVERY finance company will require you to make your payments even if the car is being repaired.
