In 1999 I went to this JD Byrider location to see if they were interested in buying my car. During my conversation with the owner he told me that him and several friends from his church were interested in helping "challenged individuals" find a way to buy cars so they purchased a JD Byrider franchise. Sounded like an honorable thing. I sold them my 93 Tempo for $2,000 which was just under Kelly Blue book. I had no problems with the transaction. About a week later I drove by and seen my Tempo on their lot with a list price of almost $8,000!! Now factor in the high interest rates and see how much they have ripped you off.
