JDP Global Rec'd $4,500 Cashier Ck ,Same as Jerilyn & David Waldorf Maryland
Yesterday, Jan. 30, 2009, I rec'd. letter fm JDP Global with a $4,500 cashier's check included. The letter stated I, along with 19 other participants, had won $65,000, which was my part of $1,000,000.00 and this check for $4,500 is partial payment to assist in paying taxes associated with my Prize Winning.
I am to contact a Claim Processing Rep. at 1-905-781-2376 no later than Feb. 4, 1009 for further information. The letter also stated that all unclaimed winnings will be included in the next drawing series to be held on Dec. 29, 2009.
The letter is a PRIZE POOL CLAIM NOTIFICATION, Claim #6893014; and the first thing I must do is call first (the tele. no. in preceding paragraph). The serial no. which apparently won the prize pool in the second drawing category is: 8562001.
I was congratulated and thanked for being a part of their international promotions program. The letter was signed by Tracy West (Director, Account Services). The first thing I've done is to use a search engine and research the company name. Automatically, ironically, the third link appearing on my cpu was for Ripoff Report/Consumer Reporting. So, that's what I'm doing since at least two others did the same and I assume that if they were scammed then so was I, which brings me to this point. Otherwise, I know nothing whatsoever about the company or the winnings.
