I purchased my third Yorkie from Jeff Dane. My first "little girl" Oka was purchased fairly local, (5 hours away) at twice what I paid for my little boy "Pippin" from Jeff. Oka is overweight (got chunky after I had her fixed) at just 5 lbs nows at 5+ years old. She is a very healthy, active, and into everything little girl.
Pippin, purchased from Jeff, turned 1 this past September 23. He is not 4 pounds yet, around 3.08. Jeff spent hours and hours trying to get Pippin to me before Christmas without much time to work with. Pips flight to New Hampshire was cancelled at least three times if not more. Jeff, personally, went to extrodanary measures and hardships to get him here for me; and called me numberous times regarding cancellations etc., Yes I bought Pip sight unseen; gamble?, probably. but he's happy, healthy and has never been sick, unlike Oka who cost much more.
Dilly my third Yorke now 3 years old, is a beautiful very long haired-to the floor trimmed- with a babydoll face, very loving and sweet and layed back, unlike the other two devils. I paid WAY more for him (like twice what the other 2 cost together) because I was stupid, and because he was supposed to be three pounds at adult. Not that it mattered, I don't show. I wouldn't trade any of them for anything. But I have to say, that Pippin (from Jeff) came to me healthy, happy, loving, obviously well taken care of, the smallest, with no guarantee of size, totally healthy, never had a problem...yet; My Vet loves him to death and wants to use him to breed (no) so I think there is something good to say here about Jeff. JEFF DANE GETS AN A+ as far as I am concerned!!

Since Jeff was kind enough to call me earlier today and let me know that he may be having his lawyer possibly get in touch with me. I decided that I had better add a clarification or two to my original comments. To make sure I stated my opinions above clearly. All of my comments above are my opinion based on the experience I had dealing with Jeff. The statement about an animal living in a puppy farm is also my opinion. I came to this opinion after taking the dog to my vet and from the vet's observations he thought that there was a high likelyhood that the dog had been living in unsatisfactory conditions. Conditions that in his opinion were sometimes classified as puppy farms. I understand that this was the opinion of a professional vet and that this is how I came to formulate my opinion that I stated above. In short my opinion of my experience dealing with yorkiepup.com was very unsatisfactory. If someone else would like to buy a puppy from yorkiepup.com I do not discourage anyone from doing so now or in the future. I merely posted my experience and my opinions. Jeff thank you for taking the time to call me and let me know that you had read my posting. I guess this web site really does get people's attention.

I am sorry for you but hope that you do not blame the puppy for being sold to you as something it was NOT! I have always found that I have to ask the AKC direct for a list of breeders. You need to turn this jasper into the AKC with a copy of the fake papers and explain to them IN DETAIL of what happened including a statement from your vet as to what sort of puppy you were actually sold as opposed to the sort of puppy you THOUGHT you were paying for. I hope you got a photo of this poor abused little dog because the TV station you will contact will want to use it when they go out and "bust" this guy. You ARE going to notify the TV stations that have Dodd City,Texas as their market area? I THINK YOU HAVE A MORAL OBLIGATION TO SHUT THIS GUY DOWN! There should be an Animal Control office in the largest town near Dodd City,Texas and I would contact them and report this as an ANIMAL CRUELTY complaint. It is a class A misdemeanor in Texas for which he can be arrested and fined so much per dog kept in these substandard condition. You should contact the area newspapers, TV stations, PETA, ASPCA and any other animal rights organization. PLEASE SHUT THIS MONSTER DOWN!
