This is an easy one. Pick up the car you bought. I am absolutely certain you signed an "as is" when you bought the car. Technically, they really dont have to fix anything. It sounds like they were trying to help you out and you flew off the handle. I'm quite sure the owner was upset if he was already going above and beyond, all the while catching pure hell from you. The threat of them reporting it stolen is rediculous. I doubt any court in Flordia would convict you of auto theft, and I doubt any police agency would actually file it with the State as a stolen car. It would be a civil matter at best. More likely, the dealer will send a repo truck to pick it up, which will leave you stranded. If they wanted to be nasty about it, they might file a suit against you for the unauthorized mileage on the car and the cost of the tow truck.
