Jetlink Turbines Selling Scrap aviation parts with non matching airworthiness certificates Ocean Ridge Florida
Don Hubiak of Jetlink Turbines has sold us 3 years ago a component for an aircraft engine asking for prepayment. The goods delivered were scrap, unserviceable.
The airworthiness certificate (FAA Form 1) delivered was not for the delivered part. Don Hubiak asked to have the part returned for investigation, this was done. Don issued a credit note good for future purchases. When asked to give a refund, nothing happened. Don Hubiak then rendered the corporation inactive. Our attorney in Germany succeeded in having Don agree to refund the money in installments. 2 of 10 installments were received, then payments/refunds stopped. Correspondence with Don Hubiak was not possible. The e-mail address and the phone no. were no longer in service.
Now 2 years later Don Hubiak is or was apparently back in business offering, claiming to be the owner, an aircraft engine for sale again under the name of Jetlink Turbines. All indications are that either there is no such engine or it does not belong to him. This was in January of this year.
It also now came up that Don Hubiak sold an aircraft part to Lufthansa technik in Germany which was unserviceable though it was sold as serviceable. Needless to say that a refund or any corrective action was not taken or offered by Don Hubiak.
Suddenly now again as before the internet presence Jetlink.com is out of order. Don Hubiak has used differentr addresses in Florida,such as DelRay, Ocean Ridge etc. He also has used different telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.
