I started work with Corry at a heavily discounted price in order to make some quick cash doing a development gig for him. Originally we agreed upon the following terms,

Every other week I would get paid for all the work I had done in cash.
I would charge him 10/hr and would only work 15 hours a week
the contract would take between 80-90 hours.
I would only be doing development work and nothing else. Another individual would be doing the design work and UI for the site.

All of this was agreed and I set out to do the work, I charted every week what had been done while his assistant Anna would look over the site and give approval, which she had done and I recieved 300.00 for the work I had done. Upon the end of the second week I met up with Corry again, this time he asked me to quickly develop the site and do as much time as needed for the agreed upon items. I told him that this would be no issue and we had more then enough time to it within 2 weeks from that time.

the items were as follows and completed as much as possible without a Site designed.:

1) mp3 player
2) a search engine to allow based upon guided search items that matched the customers items.
3) call for price was also implemented
4) E-Commerce type system was installed to assist with tracking and RMA

During the next week I had to take off on a trip and was asked by corry to complete asap. I told him I needed to get paid since I wouldn't be in town at all and requested that all the additional work I had done and would be doing I needed to get paid for upfront. Corry said sure, he said he was broke and only had 50 to send my way, at this point I became suspicious and started looking online. It appears Corry had done something like this before.

I fought back and forth with corry and he kept making excuses including that he was mugged, eventually I told him no pay no more work. He continued to play games including saying nothing had  been done at all, etc..

As of now I have filed a DMCA complaint against him on his hosting account. To boot his assistant tries to cover for him. Which has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I know beyond a reasonable doubt corry / courtland tyler is a manipulative person and all freelancers and those asked to do work for him should get paid upfront and not wait for him.
