I received the same jar of 'essence of youth' without ever ordering one after receiving a free 'sample' and throwing it into the trash. I have no idea how they got my address -- I am sure I never gave my credit card. I will try to use their website to 'refuse future shipments' but if this is a web scam -- is not this how they will get me into their database?
It is all very very distressing, and on top of it I will have to pay for mailing this suspicious substance back to them! Can something be done -- like sueing them or making this scam stop?

This is in response to Liz, who ironically who fell for the same scam. Companies out there should not be playing on the ignorance of others. This should be illegal. Yes, there is a level of concern we as consumers should have when shopping on line, yet being lied to directly by FALES ADVERTISMENTS does not make it right. I find it hard to believe that this company is just "staying afloat". There are several complaints from several people that have been swindeld out of our HARD earned money. You state that you dont work for Jevene well maybe you should submit a resume. What are you doing on this site if feel this company has done no harm? Dont lie to people, its that simple. Dont offer a free product, then turn around and try to sign you up for a cream that "clears up adult acne" that I didnt order. Its a rip off that we cannot get a hold of this company. If it was legitimate then we should be able to obtain a refund, or speak to a live person.

I, too, was offered a PDA and ended up signing up for a free sample of this cream (which, incidentally, I like... it has cleared up my adult acne without dryness). I read what I signed up for. When you sign up for the "free sample" you are also signing up for an automatic shipment after 14 days. If you read before you submit, you would know this. Also, you are ordering this through a stream of offers that started with the PDA Offer (too good to be true anyway) and you have most likely already submitted your payment info. They are not "stealing" they are simply playing off of peoples' habits of not reading what they are signing up for before they click. People, please stop blaming companies like this for YOUR mistakes. Own up to screwing up. Maybe learn a lesson or two. Maybe don't get sucked into "online offers" that come to you via spam. Maybe realize that those crazy spams that bounce you through a million "free" offers so you can win a 1000 gift card/ipod/pda etc are just sucking you in to signing up for other stuff (quite clever marketing, actually, even if annoying) and getting on a zillion mailing lists. And NO, I do not work for Jevene. I encourage this sight to verify that. I am just tired of businesses that ARE just trying to stay afloat (and yes, perhaps taking advantage of people NOT PAYING ATTENTION) getting slammed vs. the real scammers out there (meaning they actually LIED to you, not that you didn't pay attention). All in all... if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Don't punish the company... learn a lesson. Protect yourself. Read the fine print. Maybe
