Jewels Jin Attorney Jewels was all about money,lost paperwork,got into an argument with the judge(temper tantrum),Judge Ospono (Orange County Court). Fullerton California
Jewels Jin seemed aggressive and was attarctive to us at first as a "go getter".It was a contempt of court on my girfriend's husband.I contributed to the attorney's fees and actually found her,so that is my interest in sterring anyone and all away from this attorney.
She was hired late, 4 days to the trial.She gave us the song and dance,he should be in jail( the party we filed contempt on).In other words very optimistic.Not a sentence went by that she didn't mention money! We agreed to a retainer and payment plan.She signed, and we signed.
The night before trial she texted a very pessimistic text ( 730 p.m.) and when we called her back no answer,no response.Needless to say a professional would have answered the phone!
To explain how dear this $ 3,000.00 retainer that we paid her was,we sold airlooms to afford her.
Day of trial she says she has talked to the judge and all looks good.We get an agreement from the other lawyer and all looks good.When it comes time to leave,which was with my gf's son, Jewels terrorizes him and tells him "he will be an orphan id he doesn't come"! He start crying and is traumatiucally affected!
The baliffs and all court officers can not believe how cold hearted and mean she is to a 10 year old.This is so traumatic it gets back to the judge and he orders us in again.
Jewels Jin then proceeds to tell the judge how to run his courtrrom.The judge gets livid reprimands her and the case is overturned.Jewels then texts me later that night (not her client,did this about 15-20 texts) that she might not be best for the case and we owe her more money anyway, all in same breath.She wants to be paid ahead of payment plan!!This is after she blundered and failed us.
She pulls out of the case which had two more court dates, never made copies of paperwork, so my g/f never had ANY paperwork to defend herself, and had temper tantrum as she withdrew.
She has been reported to the board of the Bar of California, rumor has it the judge is also reporting her.
STAY CLEAR OF JEWELS JIN.SHE IS COLD, MATERIALISTIC, AND IN MY OPINION CAN HURT YOU!

To rebut Jewels Jin response in the order she responded!
# 1- If I am "Not A Cient" why then did she respond to me over 20 times , in text manner , and about 5 phone calls. If I am "NOT A CLIENT", isn't it against the California Bar to communicate confidential information to someone who isn't a client which she did.The fact is I have proof she DID communicate with me , even asking my advice.
# 2- "RED FLAG" that I called an attorney's office several times on a complicated matter that she was not responding to ( see my original complaint,I stated that) after she received $3000.00! That is what you do with attorney's and I contributed to her $ 3000.00 retainer! The "RED FLAG"should have been how she stopped returning phone calls after she received money!!
# 3 What does, "THE STAND HER CLENT TOOK" mean? This is vague and frankly, the killer here is that the judge himself said she should never practice law in a family Law courtroom ever again after her behavior! That seems a great deal stronger an argument on her poor behavior than a vague statement and weak attemp at spinning this.The statement "THE STAND HER CLIENT TOOK" is as my grandfather used to say BUNK (there is another word)!!
Again STAY CLEAR OF JEWELS JIN, in my opinion egotistical,materialistic, and incompetent attorney.Meet her once you will see the first 2,after she gets your money,you will see the third!
Her weak response here is a good example of how poor an attorney that she is!

Mr. Jeff Hennessy is not a client. He was the support of the actual client who came to my firm after months of obtaining no positive outcomes from various police departments regarding custody and support orders that were being ignored.
There were many red fliags before we decided to take on the matter. For one, Mr. Hennessy telephoned and text messaged my firm multiple times and days. Mr. Hennessy communicated that he sought out my office, specifically, because I am a strong and assertive advocate but got upset when I questioned the judge on his authority to modify an existing order resulting from a two day trial without a full evidentary hearing. I still stand behind my posture on this issue.
Furthermore, all this could have been avoided but for the stern position the client took at the advise of Mr. Hennessy. He then proceeded to lash out and disrespect me. My firm had no other choice than to discharge his girlfriend as a client as a direct result of Mr. Hennessy's conduct.
