My representative was from Minnesota and was new to the company. She told me that my price for the Advertising was $1675.04 id I paid within duing a time period which I did. On the front page of the contract Kate, the sales rep) wrote that
the contract was for the period of 07/15 to 01/16. On the front page on the contract it has boxes for renewal "renewal with no changes and renewal with changes. I did not check either box. The sales representative said that the contract would not
automatically renew because I did not check the box to automatically renew.
On the second page, under terms and conditions is item ( 9. At the expiration of the initial or any renewal term, this contract shall renew for a term of one year, unless either party send to the other party a notice via email, at least 30 days
prior to 30 days before the expiration of the current term of their intent not to renew the contract.
I have no record of receiving any reminder of renewal reguirement before the expiration of the contract or until May 17th 2016 when they started harrassing me. A person from the Jewish Marketing Service called me 15 times in one day. I talked to "Sofia" who was their customer service person, who said she would get me someone who could rectify this misunderstanding or problem who turned out to be another collection person giving me the same spiel.
I called my attorney who is collecting names of other business owners who have been victims of this scam, and he is collecting contracts for filing a class action suit.
The first phone call I had the collection person asked me why I didn't renew, and she started giving me the 23rd degree.
Then I hung up on her and she started calling again until the end of the day at which time I had received 15 phone calls.
I can't believe that any reputable, or faith based organization would use these tactics. There certainly are many negative
attributes that are erronerously attached to people of the Jewish faith. This type of advertising does not help.

I filed a report with Ripoff Report and I blieve that I informed the JMS. I received an email in which the JMS agreed not
to charge me for the second year if I would cancel my complaint. However, I found that Ripoff Report does not remove
complaints.
I decided to update my report to say that the JMS agreed to drop the fee for the second year because the invoice was
misleading and the salesperson did not make the discrepancy clear.
I am happy to state as of this writing, the JMS has make the decision to remove the charges for the second year that I did not order and did not want.
