JIANDAN INT'L NETWORK SALES CO LTD Ordered virtual items for Wow/Gaming - Paypal can't do anything about it Internet
I play and online game called WOW, World of Warcraft for those that aren't aware. Buying Gold to use in the game is pretty common practice, although frowned upon, because of it encouraging "Real World Trading" Alot of companies online that sell gold for games, are Chinese run and most that I'm aware, run fairly smoothly. Some are excellent.
These people however, have a long list of offences online, including selling gold for games. I feel embarassed that I didn't research them online before ordering.
Paid for my order, then Live Chat just messed me around. Asking me to send photograph of my Driver's license - and get this - credit card! Through to them by fax, or a jpeg file through email. They claim they needed to confirm my ID - yeah right. I stood my ground. As I had paid with Paypal, I filed a dispute. They did seem to appear they wanted to resolve this. But were still very slow. Just today, I received half of my order. I'm not hopeful for the balance, but will pursue this. I so hate being ripped off. I even linked the person in chat to the long list of their offences on this website. Bold just isn't the right word - you would think they had done no wrong. I was also forced to accept less gold, as apparently their price had "increased". In the real world, with real items, this would never be allowed to happen.
