I was rear ended on the way to school one evening injuring my neck and lower back. I immediately sought out an attorney the following day. At first Jim Adler and associates seemed promising to get me the money i needed for both lost wages from missing work and the costs of vehicle repair. They sent me to a place called San Antonio Pain and Rehabilitation. I was there for approximately 2 months before I was able to return to work.

It was extremely difficult to get anywhere with the staff or the attorneys office. I was expecting to here back from them at least once every two weeks or so. I figured that should be enough time for them to follow up with me. Not only did I have to make the effort to contact them but it seemed that no one truly had the desire to assist me with my needs as i was transferred to different staff members time and time again. Needless to say that after those two months and roughly 6,500.00 dollars in medical bills, I was left with a sum of 3,600.00 dollars.

That did not come close to the sum I would have made while working even though I was promised reimbursement for lost wages. I had plenty of bills piling up and had to dig into my savings account to survive along with taking out a loan. I DID NOT SEE THE SETTLEMENT CHECK UNTIL A YEAR LATER! I was given the excuse that they were trying to get more money from the insurance company. When it came time to settle, I was told that this is what the insurance company was going to give me and I had no say in if that was enough to cover everything I had to pay out of pocket. They said that they were going to close the case and take their share of the settlement. That was it.

My advice to you is to look elsewhere when looking for an injury attorney and hopefully you will not face similar circumstances.

First your rebuttal only helps to drive customers away from this lawyer.  Second most lay people would not understand the legal working of insurance that is why we hire a lawyer to help us and as such expecting updates from your lawyer is a given.  The lawyer is working for you in contingency and as such needs to provide update.  You call people names is also wrong and stating that they will get sued is also driving people away from hiring this company.  Your comments are not constructive.

You will always have difficulty contacting a lawyer. They are normally very busy people. And your problem IS with the insurance company. You ASSUMED that you would get back every dime you lost because of work. Insurance doesnt work that way. The insurance is only LEGALLY allowed to pay out however much insurance the customer purchased. Nothing more. Anything beyond the amount that the insurance customer purchased must be taken to court to get remediation. Awful nice of you to blast your lawyer. Im betting you didnt think it through AT ALL!!

You have posted what amounts to a FAKE NEGATIVE POST. You have done this because of your ignorance of HOW insurance works. You made ASSUMPTIONS as to what you were going to get back. And you blame your lawyer for what is FULLY on the insurance company. Your lawyer, now that your case has been settled, can NOW sue you for defamation of character and slanderous statements. I would spend that money fast because you can be sure that your PREVIOUS lawyer has contacts in the courthouse and can PROVE YOU WROTE THAT POST.

Isnt it amazing how that in your ignorance, youre going to end up screwing yourself over even more. It never ceases to amaze me the sheer stupidity of the american consumer. Both YOU and the LAWYER could have made back all that lost money, except you couldnt keep your trap shut. You just had to spread your ignorance of both the Law and on how you get made whole after a accident because the insurance company didnt pay you enough. You will have done THIS to yourself. Maybe if you go back and apologize to your lawyer he might not sue you.
