Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My daughter recently went to a freinds apt on E.Riverside in Austin. Her freinds husband filled out her parking permit along with others that were there and he hung it on her inside rearview mirror. There were plenty of witnesses to collaborate this fact. She then locked her car and they all left to go have dinner. When they returned she noticed her car was missing so she notified the local authorities and they informed her that it had been towed by J&J Towing. She called J&J at 512-462-2244 and was told it was towed for being parked without a permit. She informed the person who answered that she did have a permit hanging on the mirror and he said there was not one or it would not have been towed. She then asked him if he would go check. The person was very rude to her but did agree to go look. After being left on hold for more than 15 minutes he returned to tell her it was not there.

I called them the next morning and told them I would be picking up the car. When I arrived I spoke to a very helpful and courteous individual named Maria who let me look into the car for the permit. She however would not let me open the car. I had the keys and could have done it but she told me not to so I did not. I do not believe in taking advantage of a female the way these people did my daughter.

I paid the 193.30 and gave my wife the keys. When my wife got into the car she opened the center console and yes you guessed it. There was the permit. I told her not to touch it. I will pay no matter the cost to have prints lifted and hopefully one of the towing employees prints will be on it. The permit is made of a hard smooth material and print lifting will not be a problem. I know this, having been in law enforcement myself.

The issue here is not so much the 200.00 I had to pay, but the fact that someone like this company can do what they want and most likely get away with it the majority of the time. The person who entered the car also had access to my daughters employment and home addresses and no telling what else. I will pursue this matter to the end no matter the cost and hopefully put and end to it by this company atleast. I will use every legal contact I have and turn in every favor owed to me to get to the bottom of this

I think if it were my vehicle this had happened to then maybe I would let it lay,But this was my little girl they are messing with and my family is my life. I will NOT stand by and let someone get away with this. They have messed with the wrong person this time. I am not making threats by any means. I am stating that I will sue them and if possible have criminal charges brought against whoever was involved.

The receipt has operator 811 as the one one who did this.

I spoke with someone who used to work for them and this person told me that they have quotas to fill and that the owner told them all to do what ever it took to get a vehicle in the impound yard. He said that if this goes to court he would be glad to testify to his statements.

My advise to you is: If this happens to you, just pay your fees and get your car as quickly as possible. Then seek legal advise.
