A man who worked for Extreme Works showed up at a local church feeding the homeless and had the pastor announce that the man had work for people needing it on Sunday.
After speaking with the Extreme Works guy "John" me and about 9 other people showed up at the agreed location the next morning about 5am. We worked until 3pm expecting to be paid at the end of the day.
During the work day the Extreme Works supervisor, irritated at someone who wasn't working, made the announcement about 4 or 5 times that since he didn't have any signed agreements he didn't have to pay anyone. Then at the end of the day Joe Lopez said because someone didn't do what they were supposed to do (one of the laborers) he wouldn't be able to pay anyone until Friday.
When I and another guy complained he agreed to pay Wednesday. WHen the other guy went out to Joes house per their agreement Joe wasn't home. Then Joe agreed to meet me twice but never showed up and is dodging me.
The guy who he said didn't do as told worked as hard as anyone and they waited until the end of the day to tell he and his wife that they wouldn't be paid and made both of them walk home about 5 or 6 miles.
These people are more than just amazing jerks. They are criminals

Upstage Company (San Antonio Branch) was the outfit that hired Joe Lopez and Extreme Works for work at the AT&T Center. They were made aware of this whole fiasco.
