Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Most all of the negative reviews of the John Casablancas "agency" are exactly my same story.  You go to an audition, and they tell you they LOVE you, you are great, you are just what they are looking for... but you need training.

The training consists of paying about $3000 for one of their other "models" (who can't get work) to tell you very basic stuff that anyone would already know.  And the classes rarely last the three hours they are supposed to.  One day our "teacher" tried to wrap up our class after 45 minutes!

You will be made lots of promises that won't be kept or even acknowledged.  And they will keep on enticing you with promises of work and money by bleeding more money from your pocket.

If you try to get out of your contract, you will get only a small fraction of your money back.

If you really do have potential, any reputable agency will train you themselves for nothing, because they see you as an honest investment.  Any agency that wants to charge you (aside from charging you for photos... that is legit) for "lessons" or to "put your name out there" is a scam.

So in a nutshell, JC is not the only scam talent agency, but it is one of the most widespread.  Don't waste your money, no matter how many pretty promises they make or how much they raise your self esteem.  You are nothing to them but a wallet.

I would like to start by saying that I seriously hope that anyone reading this about John Casablancas Cary/Raleigh NC will NOT listen to this ignorant person who wrote this negative review. I will only speak about the Cary/Raleigh John Casablnacsa center because they are each independantly owned and operated.

This staff at John Casablancas is the real deal. Of course if you want someone to lye to you and tell you that you can be a model when you raelly cant then I guess you might say that they are liars. There are very specific stats that you must be to even be considered for modeling, such as you have to be 5"8 and above and be a size 0-1 and be age 15-19. If you are not these things then guess what, you will NEVER model high fashion. Now as far as acting, you have to have training. No way around it people. So how has JC lied to anyone. they are a training center? You have to pay for training, why would you think training is free. Let me guess, you heard that if an agency really wants you then they should pay for everything for you. YEA RIGHT!!!!! Again, John Casablancas never claims to be an agency. They have an agency attached to thier center so that thier talent can work. MTM agency. Once you are ready to go to work then you have the ability to audition for jobs through the agency.

You know the part that makes me so mad when I read this stuff is that honest people like the staff at John Casablancas Cary/Raleigh really care about people and thier clients and then mean, hateful, bad people such as yourself who have absolutely NO knowledge of how this business works tries to ruin it for others. You should really beg them to train you since you clearly need to be educated.

I see that you failed to mention how this company has volunteered on numerous occasions to work, staff and even feed out of thier own pockets so many charity organizations. I dont see other modeling companies doing things such as this. I know because myself and so many others worked these events.

I also dont see all of the success stories of working models and actors that come out of their center. Not every person that starts out in this business sticks with it and not everyone gets out of it what they thought it was going to be. That is just life. Just like a sport or a musical instrument that people start out thinking that they want to do then change thier mind. Does thatmena that the sport or the music is a scam!? NO!!!!! How about how many people drop out of college or change thier master or even thier carrer because it was not what they thought it was going to be. Does that mean college is a scam!? They charge you to educate you dont they?
