This guy and his company in my opinion and my experience with him are the folks you want to use if you absolutely positively want to make sure that your car doesnt get to where it needs to be on time or undamaged... 1. I do not and did not work for Superscars inc. and or Priviledge which had an agreement with this guy and his shipping company to import our car for an event called the palm beach supercar weekend in february of 2009. I worked for and represented the owner of the car being imported for the event Spada Concept. Spada Concept signed a bailment agreement with Priviledge the event promotor who was responsible for the shipping for the car and all fees associated with its import and export with the shipping company who filed this report. The shipping company never did the complete proper import paperwork for the car at the US end..... So the car arrived in Miami and could not clear customs as the EPA waiver for the temporary import was never filed neither was the documentation with DOT. So the car sat in customs and missed the event because these "hardworking people" didnt properly execute on their jobs in a timely manner...but they still wanted to be paid anyway.... As representative for Spada Concept I personally applied to DOT and EPA and received the documentation(I have copies) that ultimately weeks later allowed the car to enter the country at least temporarily. Further we wanted to make sure that there was no damage in shipment which we needed to correct prior to shipping the car back to Italy.. I did go and see these guys as I was concerned about our property and needed to get it out of these clowns hands since their version of doing paperwork was like the Abbot and Costello routine about "Who's on first ?" Ultimately we shipped the car out of the country using an alternative method. We paid this guys partner in Europe as he held the documentation for the reimportation of the car a guy named Michael Gams of GLP (I have copies of the wire) he decided not to pay his partner who wrote this report. We recieved the car back from Mr. Gams with the following damages and fees that we ended up paying out of our pocket even though contractually we were not responsible and I have copies of all this.... not just misstatements ... This is the damage from the reinportation by these guys into Italy and the fees that we paid (not the contracted party which was the supercar event)
TOTAL………………………………………………………………………….. 15.715,00 €
Please note that this is the amount without calculating :
In the end here they failed at their appointed task, wanted to be paid (which they were or at least their european partner was but I guess he didnt think to let them know or pay them) were part of circumstances with their european partner where our property was damaged and further never bothered to figure out who was who and who was responsible contractually with them. The contracted party Supercar inc. and Priviledge to my understanding lost their gate money to one partner Scott Levensohn who took the gate money and ran away leaving Mr. Temerian to cleanup the resulting creditors... However this had nothing to do with me or Spada Concept and in the end the shipper who filed this report did not properly execute his job which included the timely filing of paperwork for the importation of our car for an event benefiting a childrens charity in Miami. Shame on you. Do your homework and for goodness sakes take some responsibility for your poor performance. I am only responding to this now as I never knew it was here and in seeing now decided to do so.
