Josef Toth out of nowhere came to my liquor store at the right timing. He was selling ATM's and I needed an ATM. Although there was a huge delay, I finally got my ATM and I guess that part worked out fine. I wish communication just ended there.



He later came back to my store with another man. He tried leasing me new credit card machines, cash registers, and other equipment. He convinced me to lease this machine that sold phone cards and it would cost me $35 a month, and that I would make approximately 40% profits from selling the phone cards... What made me sign the contract is that he told me that if it wasn't working that he would take the machine and put it in a different store. I said to myself, what the hell, it's only cost me most $100, I minus well try it out. 



After a month I found out that the machine was costing me $39.99 + tax, +$5/month for insurance, + $100/year for insurance, +10$ a month for the phone card service.  On average I was paying about $60-$70 a month. Also, I later found out that I was only making about 4% commission in selling a phone card.  When I called Northern Leasing (the company that was debiting the money from my account), they couldn't have been ruder. They wanted like $2500 to get out of my contract. I could have bought the shitty equipment for like $300. 



After hundreds of emails (litterally hundreds) with Josef he is unable to help me, even though he guaranteed that he would take out the machine if it wasn't working. I actually since then just shipped the machine back to Northern Leasing, because it doesn't make sense for me to keep equipment here for no reason, and now I don't have to pay the property tax and insurance for it since it is no longer in my possession.



I still have 2 years of contract left with this shitty company Northern Leasing. I don't understand how a business like them can stay in business. I mean isn't the government suppose to help us when they are scamming all these people?  Josef is also just as bad. He is fully aware of what he did to me.  I mean he flat out told me to try the equipment and if he didn't like it he would take it out. When I told him it wasn't working, he made up all these excuses and said he was unable to help me. Also, I signed one paper, and when Northern Leasing sent me back the contract, the contract has like 5 pages. He didn't even bother showing me the other pages!!



Josef, look what happened now... You made $200 or whatever on commission, but because you ripped me off, your name, company name will always be on this web site. I will gladly take this report down as soon as you get me out of the contract and recoup my money lost (like originally promised).

Mr. Toth, thanks for addressing the issues and helping address the situation. I am pleased with the proffesionalism and wish more vnedors could address complaints in the manner that you did. Sorry for any misunderstandings and I look forward to the possibility of working with you in the future. Also it appears that everything was great until you joined multipoint proccessing Corp.  Every time I tried to reach you at Multipoint, they never responded to my request to get in touch with you, and were not helpful. They often made promises on your behalf that were never honored. I am glad you are a man of your words and look forward to entertaining possibilities of doing business in the near future. Your knowldedge was insightful and helpful to make the programs work to our stores advantage. Thanks, Nate Kizi.

3 or 4 years later, I am still in business, but still just as upset. I've paid just under $3000 to Northern Leasing for leasing a piece of equipment that I could have bought for 200$.  I'm willing to resolve this complaint, but I need at least a partial refund. You told me you would take the machine if it wasn't working, and you straight up lied to me because after 2 months I called you, and instead of taking the machine out, you offered me another free atm. What am i supposed to do with another atm machine when I already bought 1 from you.

In efforts to resolve the complaint from the customer. I have made several attempts to appease the situation however most of its is out of my hands as there was a 3rd party leasing company involved. The merchant took risks associated with new equipment because his customer volume was too low for the product. Merchant wanted a bill payment and prepaid card machine which he have upgraded to a better model at no additional cost to the merchant. In addition , we have serviced and done all maintenance at No Cost to accommodate this merchant which has amounted to well over the any damages that this merchant might have incurred buy engaging in an agreement with another vendor. Unfortunately , there is some misunderstanding on the merchants part who is the service provider us , our services we have rendered for free to this merchant and the leasing company and in this instance Northern Leasing that has numerous complaints. Thanks
