I bought a vehicle from Junction 26 Prestige Trade Centre Nottingham a month ago from one of the 3 owners Jay. They sold me a 12 month RAC insurance and said that the vehicle is also under the dealerships warranty for at least 1 month (by law this is actually 3 months) Within 2 weeks the vehicle had gearbox issues and called them to do the repair. Their sales manager Bob said all their preferred garages were full so I should take it to any gearbox specialist for the repair.

The RAC insurance they sold only covered up to GBP500 and the cost was GBP1300 so they had to cover the difference

After the repair they then refused to get back to me several times so I had to pay for the repair. When I went to see them to share that it is their legal obligation to repair, replace or refund they still refused to pay me the money back stating that then they would not make any money on the car. This practice is illegal in the United Kingdom and we are proceding with legal action to recoup our out of pocket expenses. Consumer direct also confirmed that it is their legal obligation to pay for the repair.

This was a terrible experience of a dealership that has no customer service or values, their own employees agreed that it was unacceptable

Please be aware when purchasing a car from Junction 26 prestige cars Nottingham, they are quick to take your money but will not provide any after sales service. They advertise heavily on autotrader so I also reported the matter to them which they will investigate with consumer direct.

I have had a similar bad experience when dealing with J26 Prestige Cars.  I purchased a car several weeks ago and a replacement part had to be ordered as part of the deal.  Its been five weeks and despite several calls to the sales manager Bob still no sign of this part.  I agree with the person above, the customer service from this place is non existent.

This is breech of contract and my advice to anyone thinking of buying a car from here - dont bother.
